• £12.60 per hour
• Contracted to 33 or 44 hours per week
• Shift times: Dayshift 8:00AM – 8:00PM | Nightshift 8:00PM – 8:00AM
• Pension, Paid PVG, Uniform Provided
• 5.6 Weeks Annual Leave (Based on a full-time contract)

About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you will do more than support residents with daily tasks – you will build meaningful relationships, bring warmth to their day or night, and be there in the moments that matter most. You will provide personal care, support daily routines, assist with meals, and offer companionship, ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable, and respected at all times.

You will be part of a compassionate team that works together like a family, helping residents live with dignity, independence, and joy. Whether it is helping residents start their day, settle for the night, or supporting activities, your role will have a direct impact on their wellbeing and quality of life.

Location
St Margaret’s Care Home is located in Newington, Edinburgh, and provides nursing, residential, dementia, respite, and palliative care for up to 60 residents.
