Vicarage Court care home is a modern nursing home and looking for a night nurse for its general nursing units. You will be supported by a strong Nurse manager and a very established care team.

Job Description

• Award-winning care home looking for a Bank Registered General Nurse. The position is bank covering 12 hours shifts.
• Vicarage Court is a large 80 bed nursing home next to Pontefract racecourse. We provide care for general nursing residents, young physically disabled (YPD), residential and residential dementia.
• Vicarage Court is a highly rated care home. In 2021, we won at the Healthwatch Care Awards. In 2019, it was awarded best nursing home at British Care Awards. In 2014, it was awarded "Employer of the Year".
• We are looking for a RGN or RMN to work along side our experienced nurse led team.

Staff Nurse Skills and responsibilities

• Monitoring blood sugar levels and IV
• Wound management
• Administering oxygen
• Putting together treatment plans
• Overseeing a team of care assistants
• Liaising with GP and multi-disciplinary team

Staff Nurse Requirements

• Hold a relevant nursing qualification
• Be registered with the NMC
• Have satisfactory references
• Have the right to work in the UK
