Job summary
We currently have a vacancy for a full time or part time Senior Care Assistant - shifts in line with a planned rota. The shift would be 07:00 to 19:00 (long day)

Skills / Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in healthcare or care home setting
- Good understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding principles
- strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead
- supervise and support junior staff
- Competent in administring or supporting with medication (where applicable)
- Ability to work as a part of a team
- Flexible approach to working hours including weekends
- Previous experience in a senior or supervisory care role
- Knowledge of CQC standards & regulations
