Hafod House Residential Home is seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join our warm, welcoming, and well-established team. As a member of the leadership team, you will help ensure the facility operates efficiently while delivering the highest standards of care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the delivery of quality care by continually assessing residents’ needs and developing services to enhance their quality of life.
- Assist the Home Manager and deputise in the overall management of the care home as required.
- Positively influence the home’s reputation through professional and warm communication with visitors, families, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance within the home by managing the implementation of company policies and regulatory requirements, striving for top care ratings and external recognition.
- Maintain clinical excellence by role-modelling high standards of care while following legal, regulatory, and best practice guidelines.
- Support financial effectiveness by operating within budget, optimising resources, and identifying areas to improve efficiency.
- Take an active leadership role, being a visible and approachable leader in a 24-hour care environment.
- Contribute to people management, including recruitment, assessment, supervision, and support of the care team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care
- Experience as a Senior Carer orTeam Leader
- Medication administration trained
- Strong leadership, organisational, and people management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, their families, and staff.
- Knowledge of care home regulations, compliance, and best practices.
- Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
