Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Alandale. In this role, you will provide essential support to our residents, helping them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your contributions will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of care that we pride ourselves on.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support clients in following their individual care plans to ensure personalised care.
- Communicate effectively with other staff, residents and their families to provide updates on well-being.
- Participate in organising and facilitating engaging activities for residents.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents.
- Document any changes in residents' conditions or needs accurately.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care home or similar environment is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a dedicated team while also being self-motivated.
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes are beneficial.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
