Job Description:

Heatherside Rest Home is seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis, working 39 hours per week 

In this key leadership role, you will lead and support the care team on shift, administer medication in line with policy, follow person-centred care plans, maintain accurate documentation, and provide high-quality personal care while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing for all residents.

You will liaise professionally with families and healthcare professionals, act as a role model for junior staff, and ensure safeguarding and CQC standards are consistently met.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or be willing to undertake), have previous senior care experience or experience leading a team, medication administration, and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and IT skills.
