St Philips & St James Residential Home is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.

We cater for elderly people and have 31 rooms

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Care assistant at St Philips & St James residential care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support.

You will be responsible for leading a team of care staff, which will include training, supervisions and delegating duties on shift. You will also support with the administering and ordering of medication, reviewing and updating resident care plans and risk assessment, and liaising with GP's, district nursing teams and resident family members.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • ABOUT YOU The successful candidate will have an appropriate qualification in Health & Social Care to join us as a Senior Care Assistant. You will have previous experience in a residential care setting along with proven team leadership skills and the ability to make appropriate decisions to support the needs and wellbeing of our Residents.
