Job summary
Blossom Lodge Care Home, located on Cherrys Road, Barnsley (S71 5QU), is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our friendly team.
About the Role:
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting
our residents with their daily needs, ensuring they live comfortably,
safely, and with dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
- Supporting with meals and hydration
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Helping with mobility and daily activities
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Promoting independence and wellbeing
Requirements:
- A caring and empathetic nature
- Good communication skills
- Reliability and a positive attitude
- Previous experience in care is preferred but not essential (full training provided)
