We currently have a vacancy for a care assistant to come and work with our great team.

This is a full-time role that requires 36 hours per week.

These roles involve shift work between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm, as well as working weekends.

Main aims of the job

• To meet the personal needs of the residents.
• To observe and promote the residents' choice, independence, dignity, privacy, and other rights.
• To create and maintain good professional relationships with residents, their families, and friends.
• To assist in the general duties and activities of the home.
• To work alongside, and support your colleagues

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have good judgment, problem-solving, and decision making skills
• The ability to work flexible hours to meet the business needs
• Effective time keeping and time management
• Have a genuine interest in older people
• The ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Be willing to participate in National Vocational Training Programmes
• NVQ Level 2, or working towards it.
