Senior Carer

Job summary

Remyck House is a residential care home located about 10 minutes walk from Aldershot Town centre in Hampshire.

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Senior carer to work with us. The home provides high levels of care and has a compassionate care team who are trained to support and enhance each resident's quality of life. As part of out team you will need to be an energetic and committed individual who has recent experience of working in an elderly/dementia residential setting.

Some of the Senior carers duties include:

To be involved in supporting residents with their physical care and personal hygiene needs, ensuring their independence is preserved and developed as far as possible.

Maintain residents’ daily activities records and pass on this information to other care staff or relatives in a person-centred method

Ensure respect, privacy and dignity is accorded to all residents.

Administer medication

Promote and maintain a tidy environment at all times.

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and values:

Caring nature

Previous care work, preferably with NVQ level 2.

Ability to work as part of a team and individually

Flexibility and be able to adapt to the needs of residents.
