Maintenance Manager

Job summary

Crown Care Group are pleased to announce the following vacancy for an experienced Maintenance Manager at Belvedere House Care Home, Chesterfield. This beautiful 64 bed care home provides hotel standard facilities and services. We urgently require an enthusiastic and driven Maintenance Manager who will have the ability to maintain the exceptional standards within the home. This is a hands-on role responsible for delivering day-to-day maintenance across the home, carrying out repairs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring swift resolution of maintenance requests.

Duties to Include: (but not limited to)

• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checks in accordance with company policies.
• Carry out regular fire drills.
• Ensure adherence to COSHH.
• Basic maintenance and repairs.
• Gardening.
• Decorating.
• Liaising with outside contractors and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate records.

Skills:

• Must have good organisational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Care Home experience preferred but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Empathy and patience when working with elderly individuals
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
