Job Description:
We are looking for a kitchen assistant to join our team with shifts being Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You will need to be used to working in a fast paced, busy environment and be able to think on your feet, providing our cooks with support as needed. Previous experience in a healthcare environment would be an advantage, however, for the right person training would be given.
The Poplars is a 43 bedded Care Home in Thornaby. The post primarily consists of assisting in the kitchen, serving and clearing up after meals, basic food preparation, cleaning the kitchen and dining areas, assisting with deliveries, storage and stock rotation.
Salary is £12.71 per hour
