Looking for a stable night role within a friendly and supportive care home?

Towy Castle Care Home is looking for an experienced Night Care Assistant to join our established night team.

Set within beautiful grounds overlooking the Towy estuary, Towy Castle is a well-respected residential and dementia care home with a long-standing team and welcoming environment.

This role is ideal for an experienced carer who enjoys night work and is confident providing calm, compassionate support to elderly residents overnight.

The Role

• Supporting residents with personal care overnight
• Carrying out regular checks and responding to call bells
• Providing reassurance and emotional support
• Assisting with early morning routines
• Maintaining accurate care records
• Working closely with colleagues during handovers

Shift Pattern

• 10:00pm – 8:00am
• 3 nights on / 3 nights off rota
• Includes weekends and bank holidays

What We’re Looking For

? Previous care experience essential
? Dementia care experience preferred
? Calm, dependable and compassionate approach
? Good communication and teamwork skills
? NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care desirable

?? Due to the rural location of the home and limited public transport during night hours, applicants with a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle are strongly preferred.
