St Marys Care Home is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to support the delivery of high-quality care and lead our care staff in providing a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for residents.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior care assistant or team leader who is passionate about elderly care and motivated to make a positive difference every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the care team during shifts
- Ensure residents receive person-centred care
- Administer and record medication where required
- Support care planning and daily documentation
- Promote safeguarding, dignity, and independence
- Assist with staff supervision and mentoring
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and management
Requirements
- Previous experience in a senior care or team leader role
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (preferred)
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Medication administration experience
- Compassionate, reliable, and organised approach
- Right to work in the UK
