We’re looking for someone compassionate, confident, and committed — someone who can support our residents with dignity and kindness while leading the care team on shift to deliver safe, personcentred care.
What will you be doing?
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in the daily running of the home, ensuring residents receive highquality care and staff feel supported. Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing personal care and emotional support with dignity and respect
• Leading the shift and supporting junior staff with supervision, mentoring, and guidance
• Administering medication safely
• Monitoring residents’ wellbeing, completing accurate documentation, and updating care plans
• Responding promptly to changes in residents’ needs and escalating concerns appropriately
• Supporting residents with mobility, nutrition, hydration, and continence care
• Encouraging meaningful activities and social engagement
• Liaising with families, GPs, and healthcare professionals
• Ensuring the home remains safe, clean, and compliant with Health & Safety and infection control standards
• Participating in audits, preadmissions, and general senior duties such as food/fluid checks, shift allocation, and ordering supplies

Skills / Qualifications:
- At least 5 years’ experience in care
- • At least 1 year in a senior/supervisory role
- • Level 2 Health & Social Care
