- Shift Pattern: 07:45am - 6:30pm, working Thursday, Friday and Saturday each week

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook to join our kitchen team and help deliver nutritious, well-balanced meals that support the health and wellbeing of our residents.
Key Responsibilities.
As a Cook, you will assist in preparing and serving meals that are both nutritious and enjoyable, catering to a variety of dietary needs. Working closely with the Head Chef and care team, you’ll ensure that every meal is made with care, quality, and attention to detail.
- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with planned menus and dietary requirements.
- Ensure food is presented attractively and served at the correct temperature.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
- Support with stock control, food storage, and kitchen organisation.
- Follow food safety regulations and internal policies.
- Build positive relationships with residents, taking into account their preferences and feedback.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Cook, ideally in a care home, healthcare, or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards (Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate preferred).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A caring, respectful approach to working in a care environment.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
