Manor Park Care Home

I very much enjoyed staying, when my daughter was always on holiday. It was a new experience for me. The staff were all very willing and happy to give any help they could. Brilliant service. I was able to choose how I did my morning routine, then able to have good meals later, because I was able to go out independently it was agreed for me to do. A good experience I may need again.

The home is fairly new + purpose built, his room was very clean + spacious, he plans to go for respite again soon.

My mother came into Manor Park for two weeks respite care. After this time she realised that she would not cope at home on her own even with carers going in several times a day. She is very happy about the care she is receiving. All staff are very friendly and caring. The home is beautifully set up and decorated. Daily activities provide entertainment, keeping the residents busy . Mum says she has a good laugh and loves chatting to staff and residents. We as her family are very happy that we have found such a lovely care home. We don't feel we are abandoning Mum, in fact we have to arrange our visits around her activities! She enjoys her meals and says the food is excellent. Her room is lovely. The public areas and lounge are a delight to bring visitors into. We would recommend Manor Park to anyone. In fact my sister and I say would love to book ourselves in for a break!!

Love this facility for my mum. Everything is built fit for purpose and is immaculate. The team are brilliant and my Cockapoo loves to visit everyone. Still one or two snagging issues being worked on but entirely understandable in a brand new build but every effort is made to get straight onto a 'snag'. I'm very happy my mum is in good hands, the team are all very kind and respectful. Head and shoulders above other facilities I viewed. Engagement i know is a work in progress as the team evolves and I know this is something important to the care home so I'm happy with what's currently in place and happy to assist where possible

Dad spent 10 days at Manor Park whilst his home carer was away. All the staff were so welcoming and they gave the time to get to know Dad even though he was staying only a few days. It was very reassuring for us to trust that he was safe and cared for, in impeccable surroundings. A five star holiday!

My wife was in the home for two weeks respite care. She was extremely well looked after and the staff were so kind and considerate. Everyone was welcoming and helpful and I can certainly recommend it.

I have been extremely happy with the care my mum has recieved in Manor Park so far. She is very happy here and the nurses and carers are all so lovely with her. They have been taking the time to shower her and wash her hair in the morning. They also sit with her when able to. It's so lovely and reassuring to know my mum is in safe hands and well cared for. Friendly and professional staff creating a proficient yet homely atmosphere. It's a relatively new build so very well maintained but probably has some minor new build issues and as yet has not got its full complement of residents. Provides a good range of resident activity that is available to day and short term residents . Initial essential documentation/ finance procedures a little arduous but ok

Thank you to all at Manor Park from the admin staff, behind the scenes staff who makes everything so clean and tidy, and again the care staff.

My aunty is a resident. Having visited a number of homes before Manor Park it stood out immediately with been a new build, instead of a conversation. Internally I found the layout of bedrooms, communal areas very good and it still has the new look and feel to furnishings etc. We found the individual bedrooms a good size, all on suite, perfect for what we required. I particularly like the security of the residents as they can not just exit the building which was important to us. Meals are of a good quantity and quality. All the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant right from the initial contact and still are several weeks later and my aunty seems very relaxed with them (a good sign). Staffing levels are good and again the policies in place on safety and care seem to very good. The best recommendation, outside the building itself, I can give is that my aunty is happy, safe and well cared for, the three most important factors for us as a family. Well worth a visit if you are looking

I have been here in Manor Park for the past three months having arrived at the beginning of January 2026. I have a very pleasant ensuite room attractively furnished in pale colours leading on to a courtyard garden. All the staff are most helpful with the care staff being kindness itself and go out of their way to make life easier. The food is good and wholesome and the chef goes out of his way to cater for all tastes. I have had a good life and am happy to spend the rest of my days here.

I chose Manor Park for a period of respite care after making an initial visit as I knew it had only recently opened. I was impressed by the overall design and landscaping.The communal rooms were spacious and bright yet with a homely feel.The corridors had colourful pictures of the Malton area. There was a good choice of freshly cooked food on the daily menus with individual preferences accommodated and spacious dining rooms overlooking the gardens. The care I received from staff was exceptional. Always a knock on my door before entering, and always a quick response to my bell call day and night. Nothing was too much trouble from a cup of tea to extra towels or a little chat, and the housekeeping standard was excellent. I had help with my mobility recovery and regular check on the medication I needed. All of my stay provided me with peace of mind, and I would highly recommend a visit to Manor Park if considering care needs.

Very impressive design and furnishings. Everywhere beautifully clean. Possible improvements would be to provide a draft letter to advise a residents change of address, correction of first page of residents contract and clear labels on buffet items to warn and protect people at risk of allergic reactions. The main lack is that of security for valuables.

As with any new facility there have been a few teething problems, but this has not detracted from the overall brilliant standard of the facility. My mum especially likes the on-suite wet room, with shower incorporated.

I also cannot praise enough the wonderful staff who go above & beyond caring for my mum & taking care of all her needs, even down to making hot chocolate in the middle of the night when she can't get to sleep.
