From first contact with Amber W the service has been excellent.
Amber arranged a visit which wasn't rushed and was very informative answering all the questions and reassuring all my concerns.
The staff were all very pleasant and welcoming also
On the day of my Aunt moving in again I cannot express
in words how welcoming everyone made us feel, room was well presented and staff one by one passed by to say hello and it was as if we'd been there years
Choosing a care home for a loved one is a traumatic and worrying event but Amber and the team made the whole experience pass off trouble free and for that reason I cannot fault Amber or the team
Thank you very much for everything

My aunt has been a resident at Oaksprings since 12/23. The care and support she has received is excellent. The unit she is on is well led, staff are lovely facilities are spotless. The unit lead and deputy keep me up to date with her care, more importantly they have ensured her changing needs are met.
Not only do they cate about the residents but family and friends. I appreciate they are working in a very demanding unit but the staff cope admirably. Big thanks to them!
Reply from Andrea Lyon, Home Manager at Oak Springs Care HomeThank you for your positive comments, I will be sure to pass your compliments to the staff. Kind Regards

In january as well as May , my mum's toe nails and finger nails had not been cut by the chiropodist. It was down to me to check mum's nails and report the issue.
2 weeks after reporting this issue in May, mums toenails were finally clipped, however her fingernails were still long and dirty. No plug
in wash hand basin so she cannot soak her own nails.
A blonde carer said chiropodists only clip toenail!! Thats the first I've heard that! So if carer can clip fingernails why can they not clip toenails. Blonde carer said she doesn't know why mums fingernails are dirty and not been clipped in 3 weeks and proceeded to look for scissors then got Jackie who made up excuses and would NOT clip mums fingernails while I was there and walked away to paint nail varnish on someone else! This is neglect

Whilst very happy with my dad's overall care; he is always clean & tidy and the staff are lovely, I am disappointed when I look on social media family & friends to note that the majority of activities/entertainments seem to take place on Willow/Walnut suites and very few on Maple suite (where my dad
is). When there have been activities on Maple he has joined in and enjoyed himself. I understand about consent, but the best way to approach my dad is not to ask 'do you want to....' but say something like 'lets go here, lets do this' etc. I have already raised this issue with the Oak Springs team outlining my concerns for dads well being.
Reply from Andrea Lyon, Home Manager at Oak Springs Care HomeThank you for taking the time to review Oak Springs. I am sorry that you feel that more activities take place on the other suites rather than maple suite. I can assure you that resident activities are shared equally between the 3 suites. Each week activity planners are displayed on each notice board and that will direct you to the weeks schedule, I hope this helps. Kind Regards Andrea Lyon

My aunty is a resident. Having visited a number of homes before Manor Park it stood out immediately with been a new build, instead of a conversation. Internally I found the layout of bedrooms, communal areas very good and it still has the new look and feel to furnishings etc. We found the individual
bedrooms a good size, all on suite, perfect for what we required. I particularly like the security of the residents as they can not just exit the building which was important to us. Meals are of a good quantity and quality. All the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant right from the initial contact and still are several weeks later and my aunty seems very relaxed with them (a good sign). Staffing levels are good and again the policies in place on safety and care seem to very good. The best recommendation, outside the building itself, I can give is that my aunty is happy, safe and well cared for, the three most important factors for us as a family. Well worth a visit if you are looking

Ribble Court staff were all very caring, respectful, friendly and professional towards our family member resident. As well as towards myself and other members of family who visited. There were quiet areas and a communal area for visitors, as required and for me personally. The coffee bar and endless
supply of biscuits (not to mention bakes made by the kitchen staff leader and team) were a godsend. Confidentiality when speaking openly in friendly chat and requests for help or advice was respected. And overall, it was our family member resident home and ours too! ,

I cannot fault the excellent care my mum has received over the 8 years she has been a resident . The management team are very professional, friendly and welcoming . My mum couldn't be in safer , kinder hands . The rest of the family sleep easy at night knowing she's getting the best care possible .
She's not just a resident to the staff , she's part of the family .

Longridge Hall provides first class care to their residents. The compassion, understanding and level of care that each member of staff have shown to my dad since he became a resident is quite frankly superb. This extends to the warm welcome that my mum receives each day when she visits my dad. Thanks
to the staff and the level of care provided, we as a family feel that my dad is being extremely well looked after and this has helped my mum so much at this very difficult time. Every aspect of the daily care provided is superb.

I have been here in Manor Park for the past three months having arrived at the beginning of January 2026. I have a very pleasant ensuite room attractively furnished in pale colours leading on to a courtyard garden. All the staff are most helpful with the care staff being kindness itself and go out of
their way to make life easier. The food is good and wholesome and the chef goes out of his way to cater for all tastes. I have had a good life and am happy to spend the rest of my days here.

We are also pleased to know that you are happy with the food as we know how important that is and the chefs and catering staff do ensure that they take their time to cater for each individual. I will ensure that the staff are aware of your lovely feedback.

My review is regarding the end of life care my grandad received. He sadly passed 1st April 2026 and myself and my family cannot speak highly enough of all the staff who cared for him at this time.
The staff know the family well, we can be intense as always have wanted the best for grandad, he was a
huge part of our life's. The support they have offered is amazing. The managers have had an open door policy and no question we asked was any trouble.
I wish I could give you all a million zillion pounds, we could not have got through this without you.
Not sure carers, nurses and staff literally extended family!
Reply from Porsche Grillo, Home Manager at Telford HallHi K G Thank you so much for such a kind review - As you know grandad was part of our extended family as are yourselves! and it was a pleasure to be able to provide care to him at his time of need. Take care and see you soon. Porsche
