All the staff on Walnut Suite made Mum welcome. They are kind, thoughtful and have a great sense of humour. Mum is the happiest I have seen her in years. There is an amazing range of activities and trips that keep her mind active. Her ensuite room is very spacious, and Mum was encouraged to make it
homely. I am so grateful for everyone's care and love. Moving Mum to Walnut Suite was the best thing ever.

My husband has settled in nicely and interacts with all staff and speaks fondly of the care and time they give him. He gets all medication on time checking regularly on any pain he may have and acts on it immediately. They check his skin and its better than it has been for a long time. I myself am
more relaxed knowing how well they look after him when I'm not there. Everything is calm all staff speak to us and smile making it look so easy, which shows all the effort that they put in. Well done x

Our long term friend and sister in Christ had spent 6 months in 3 different hospitals, she was admitted with 2 fractures and developed other health issues.. She declined due to her mental state and lack of social interaction (The NHS mandate is to heal, rehabilitation is secondary bearing in mind their
workload). She has been at the Oaks less than 3 weeks; has gained weight, is willing to get out of bed, and is so much brighter. She has now accepted that the nursing care at The Oaks is what she needs, purpose has returned. Induction into the home was relatively painless (I had experience with my father entering a care, then nursing home), and the support afforded eased the work needed to manage finances. Activities, encouragement and overall care are in abundance in all disciplines in the running of the home. My review on Food & Drink has not been evaluated hence rating.

I just wanted to say how pleased I am with the consistency of the staff at The Oaks and the love , care , respect and dignity which they show to my Mum and the other residents.
The fact that there is a core of staff assigned to each floor makes a huge difference to the consistency of care provided.
As
a relative who does not live near but visits as often as possible , the fact that when I phone to speak to Mum I can identify the person answering really does make it so much better for all. I am able to get feedback as to how Mum is and , when the handset is then taken to Mum the way the staff interact with Mum is really positive.
There have been times when things haven't gone to plan but these have been dealt with in an open and constructive manner .
The decision to move into Residential Care was not an easy one both for Mum herself and us as her family. However, it was the right one . The fact that Mum is happy and content means so much. Thank you

Our mother loves the home, treated with dignity and respect. All staff are amazing and really go the extra mile to look after Mum's needs. Always great entertainment is laid on, and she loved the wed hair salon day, amazing. The only huge negative complaint is that we have had to drain Mum's savings
and sell her family home to pay for her care. Yet other people with no assets in the home are receiving the same care council funded. It's morally wrong.

My sister has been a resident at Priesty Fields for 18-months and is suffering from severe Dementia, which is deeply distressing to watch. The building is beautiful and the rooms are light, bright and clean. The staff at Priesty-Fields have been amazing during her time here. They genuinely care, are
very understanding, treating people with high levels of respect and dignity. From management through to the administration and laundry team, everyone is pleasant, helpful and happy to communicate. Although there's been several changes of management during the last 18 months, I have never had any difficulty contacting them and have always found the team to be good listeners, approachable, and responsive. Following each visit, we leave knowing that my sister is being well cared for.

I was the LPA for a gentleman who was in Ribble Court as a CHC resident for over two years due to his deteriorating health condition that resulted him in no longer being able to live in his sheltered accommodation upon hospital discharge in 2023 until his passing in May 2025. The care he received was
not only medically excellent but the care and compassion shown by all staff in making him feel safe settled secure and loved by all during his last years and his resulting quality of life was something that I will be eternally grateful and thankful for. The manager and all her team were not only incredible in how they looked after the gentleman but they were also very helpful to me in dealing with all his affairs and external agencies.
Thank you to all at Ribble Court.

My experience of Ribble Court has always been positive since my wife came there in spring 2024.
Over the weekend 14/15 June she developed a chest infection following a cold- nothing was too much trouble and staff were very attentive, contacting me and getting the meds she needed as soon as possible.
She is now improving. She settled in well and the family believe she is happy.
