Our dad has been in St Helens Hall and Lodge for only a few months but has settled in well and loves being there now. The staff are friendly, caring and professional and go out of their way to make sure he is well looked after and comfortable.

Very high standard in all departments, staff, food, activities, and cleanliness. Variety of lounges and excellent bedrooms. I don't think I could find a better home for my husband. It it is a very difficult decision but I don't think he could be anywhere better.

I would especially like to mention Sharon, Joanne and Michelle, who have all been wonderful. They have been incredibly caring towards my auntie and very supportive and helpful to me and my family during such a difficult time. They always keep us informed and are there if we have any questions or worries.
The home itself is always clean, tidy and welcoming. It gives us great comfort knowing my auntie is being looked after so well.
I am very pleased that we chose St. Helens Hall and Lodge for my auntie's care and I'm very grateful to all the staff for everything they do.

Brother-in-law was extremely weak and vulnerable, needing careful attention. All aspects of his welfare were well catered for until his health deteriorated sufficiently to require hospitalisation. All staff members were excellent with their care.

Care for my mother is complex however staff meet the challenges and make Mum comfortable safe and happy. She is treated with love, kindness and dignity. Facilities are spotless and every care is taken to make it feel like home.

Amanda has also completed her Level 5 Management Qualification, and she has completed a Level 2 in Dementia Care, End of Life Care, Nutrition and Equality and Diversity.

I wanted to work in a home and had heard such good reviews of St Helens Hall that I started working here in 2012 as a Senior Care Assistant in the residential unit.After two years I was promoted to Deputy Manager on the EMI unit and in May 2018 I was promoted to Care Manager.
During my time working here, I have found the home to be exceptional in all areas, and the care and support given to all residents and staff to be outstanding. The home feels welcoming and friendly.

My favourite thing to do is to look for fancy decorations to add to my cupcakes for the home’s coffee mornings. I am most proud of my tasty Sunday Lunch with all the trimmings, it’s even better when I get to watch all the residents enjoy it.
I love all aspects of cooking for my residents to make sure they are enjoying all their meals. Baking is my favourite hobby; I love to get creative with new recipes and make yummy cupcakes and biscuits for everyone to share.
