We've been kept up to date with all changes and all has been explained in an easy to understand manner with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and for clarification when needed.

There have been many standout moments since arriving, I could be here all day listing them. But one that stands out to show the level of care and passion for their role was, we left the room one night to get some food, and when we came back there was a young care lady who was sat next to the head of dads bed just talking to Dad, ( Dad is none responsive and in his last few days ) she just didn't want him to be alone, this just summarizes how much the staff genuinely care.

My relative has been at Priesty Fields for 2 1/2 years I can honestly say that since the new Management team have taken over it is 100% a beautiful Home for her to live in I feel now she is in safe caring hands.

During her stay at Priesty Fields, Our God Mother was extremely well cared for. The staff were so attentive and kind. The facilities were well managed and we were always made welcome when we visited. During her last days the staff were so respectful and she was treated with great dignity.

Staff very pleasant, unfortunately the resident I visit is unable to make full use of all the facilities & activities. Premise always appears clean & tidy, room is fine with ensuite facilities all that you require.

My mother is treated with dignity by all the staff at Priesty Fields Care Home. The care and support is second to none. The food provided is excellent, her room is kept clean and tidy and the management take great pride in the home, and they always on hand to deal with any questions/concerns that you have.

Residents are given food options at every mealtime and if they require another option it is made fresh.

The staff are friendly, efficient, and very helpful. Priesty is always clean, tidy and well decorated. Robert is well looked after, well-fed with tasty food. There is a lovely atmosphere around the place.

I used the service to start recovery and rehab, after my right shoulder replacement. The room was excellent. The ground floor was the most suitable for my needs. The building is impressive. The activity programme is in place and not patronising. I live close by so I was able to have lots of visitors who I entertained away from my room. Nice staff, food well cooked.

Had hip operation on 6 Feb '26, went to Priesty Fields to recouporate for 2 weeks. Everyone was exceptionally helpful, pleasant efficient. Any night calls were answered within a couple of minutes. Food good. Went home - well rested. Thank you.

I would like to thank all at Priesty Fields that have had involvement with my mother. They are all friendly but professional. I feel totally relaxed being with my mum in the home and also leaving her there when I leave. I think I can honestly say that I talk for my brothers and father too. Thank you everyone for making our lives easier.

Our mother recently celebrated her 100th birthday at Priesty Fields. The staff and carers were fantastic in making this a very special occasion for her, with cards, presents, decorations and a beautiful cake made by the chef. We are so grateful that mum lives in such a kind and caring community and we were genuinely touched by everything the staff and carers did to make it a memorable and happy occasion.

My father has been a resident at Priesty Fields since June 2024. Since moving here, he has had a new lease of life. There has been a massive improvement in his health and wellbeing, which we put down to the care and treatment he receives here. He enjoys living at Priesty Fields and has good relationships with staff, who are very supportive of him. He enjoys the food and the activities which are available. We would definitely recommend Priesty Fields to any family.

After all the downs this nursing home has faced I wanted to leave a new review for them on mine and my mums personal experiences. There have been very rocky times there's no denying it but since the new management team have taken over things are on the up. Rebecca and Sarah had a hard job on their hands but they are handling it, there is a different feel to the place, more positive. Staff seem happier, and this is huge as the staff there are brilliant, the ones who really do care are being recognised and made to feel like they are seen. Mum is happy again, she's settled and again feels like she's home, things must be getting so much better because believe me she would be the first to say if it wasn't. The management team are very present too, the residents feel seen and heard by them which is huge. A "good morning" goes such a long way to them, and to have that relationship with the "bosses" (residents words not mine haha) means the world. Finally they care & it shows. Thank you x

I have been a resident at Priesty Fields for several years now and it is fair to say that the food here has been somewhat underwhelming. However, there has been, what I consider, to be a massive upturn in both the choice and quality of the food.

The meal choices are now tempting and interesting, it's difficult to make a selection; from soup to steak, all the options are appealing.

As for the quality of the cooking, this is difficult to get right. Finding a happy medium is not an easy task, but I am more than pleased with what has been provided. Resident's feedback to the kitchen is taken on board and any adjustments made.

Both vegetarian and non- vegetarian choices are delicious and have put new life into old staples like tomatoes and chicken.

For me, mealtimes have become enjoyable again and not just a choice of the least worst option. Well done!

My mother passed away recently in Priesty Fields and I cannot praise the staff highly enough in her last days. They, without exception, from the nursing staff, caring staff, receptionist and housekeeping, were thoughtful, loving and respectful. It made the last days for Mum and all the family so much easier.
