Our mother loves the home, treated with dignity and respect. All staff are amazing and really go the extra mile to look after Mum's needs. Always great entertainment is laid on, and she loved the wed hair salon day, amazing. The only huge negative complaint is that we have had to drain Mum's savings
and sell her family home to pay for her care. Yet other people with no assets in the home are receiving the same care council funded. It's morally wrong.

My dad moved here in January and I am pleased with the care and support he has been given.the staff have gone above and beyond to make sure his needs are met.the facilities are very good,I'm impressed with the daily activities and days out they provide.my mum visits everyday and I'm impressed how caring
and loving they all are towards her, both my dad and mum have been treated with quality care love and support.the staff are amazing giving a great level of care..as a family we are so thankful to all involved

I have been very impressed whenever I have visited and found staff to be welcoming and friendly. I notice that all residents are well groomed, have their hair washed and cut regularly. They all have good food and I've overheard many conversations between staff and residents, all being very kind, thoughtful
and caring. Residents all seem to be happy and entertained. All areas are clean and tidy. I have visited after hours and still been able to access when the button is pressed and not been kept waiting. The staff all seem very responsive and very kind.

I visited today for my Father's Birthday and it was also my first trip to Telford Hall. I was impressed as soon as I left my car and admired the building and gardens. Inside was immaculate throughout, staff was friendly and very helpful at reception. I was amazed to find my Dad smiling, singing, and
enjoying physical chair exercises with his friends and the carers. What an impressive and enjoyable 1st visit. Thank you everyone for all your hard work.

Both my parents have been at Telford Hall for nearly three years. Their well-being has been top of the list ever since they arrived at their new home. They are well looked after. I have always been impressed with Telford Hall and it's staff. I was disappointed when the manageress left last year as she was doing an excellent job. I hope the incoming manager will be as good. If anything should happen to me and I needed to go to a care home then Telford Hall would be my first choice.

My mom sadly passed away in January 2024, but had been a resident here for just under a year, and the care, love and compassion given to Mom during her stay were exemplary; she especially loved two members of staff who both attended Mom’s recent Celebration of Life. Dad moved into Telford Hall last week. We’d seen other care homes and there was no comparison with the facilities and the initial warm welcome that we received from the staff at Telford Hall. They’ve made his transition into care so much easier than we could have imagined and we’re delighted with how

Stable staff team. Professional service delivered with warmth and individual care. The manager is available and resident-focused. The home is modern, light and airy. The room can be made homely with personal items. There is now a good range of activities including physical exercise.

My father has been a resident since October 2021. Since new management has taken over I cannot fault the level of care that my father receives. I feel all my father's needs are met and his voice is heard and respected.
As his daughter I think the communication is now excellent, if I have any concerns
or questions I am listened to and all staff will take appropriate action and resolve my questions.
I also feel my opinions are taken into account and I feel there is transparency within the communication.
I also now feel staff morale is good and this is reflected in a happy and positive ethos within the home.
The activities programme is varied and full with no pressure on residents to participate.

Moms been at The Farmstead now for 2 years. We’ve had ups and downs throughout this time but I have to say I have seen lots of improvements which all are beneficial to residents. Mom has really settled at Farmstead after a very difficult decision for her to go into long term care. Staff are very friendly
and attentive to her needs and family are always made to feel welcome.

The new manager and her team have made huge and very welcome changes within the home. The manager's zest for life is infectious and she manages the home with an open-door policy. She recognises that errors were previously made and has been honest and acted with integrity in addressing the same. As a
family, we are happy with the level of care that Mum receives. Under the new manager, an activities programme has been instigated and is run by a staff member who tries very hard to involve all residents in the activities.
The staff threw a 60th wedding anniversary party at The Farmstead for my parents recently. They organised everything. All we needed to do was invite guests! They went above and beyond their duties and created a day we will never forget. Thank you.
This home has had its problems. The manager has addressed every issue with due diligence and complete professionalism. Yes, there were problems, but no home is perfect. The Farmstead is safe and we are happy Mum is there.

My mother was only here for a short time as she was very poorly. The manager and staff were extremely caring. They made her last few days comfortable and were very attentive to her needs. Facilities and rooms are first class, as was the food. I have visited quite a few homes in the area, and this is

I am so very grateful to the management and staff at the Farmstead Nursing home in Lawley, Telford for looking after my husband. He became a resident there before lockdown. Both he, and I as a visitor, were made very welcome by everyone.


Then during lockdown the staff became his family. He and I

could only talk on WhatsApp. I was lucky enough to see my husband after lockdown was lifted, but not for very long until his passing.


It became very apparent after lockdown how much my husband and the staff had bonded.


During my husband’s last days the management and staff were amazing. It was a really difficult time. They were so helpful, supportive, professional, caring to my husband, to me, and to other members of my family.


Whilst I was at the home I could see how well the staff cared for other residents.


I would strongly recommend the Farmstead Nursing Home to anyone who is in that difficult position of choosing a care home for their loved one.

What I love most about this role is having the opportunity to truly care for people. I enjoy getting to know our residents, understanding their stories, and being able to make a real, positive difference in their lives every single day.


I’ve worked in care since I was 19, starting out as a support planner, where I created care plans for people who needed help. From there, I became a social care officer, assessing individuals’ care needs and putting the right support in place. I also worked as a trusted assessor for care homes before moving into management roles as a deputy and then a residential manager.


What drives me is the chance to improve people’s lives—to bring purpose, dignity and joy into their everyday. That’s what makes me passionate about working in care.

Kevin has been here at Telford Hall since we opened our doors in 2018 and has managed to implement his amazing menus since then.


He has a wealth of experience in the industry and has built an amazing team here.


He has recently attended the IDDSI Level 4 training program, which provides practical advice and recipe ideas to help residents who have a serious swallowing disorder called dysphagia.

Maria joined in April 2021 as Telford Hall's dedicated Activities Coordinator.


She has worked in the care industry for many years and has great relationships with people in the community and community leaders, including Raj Mehta, Mayor of the Borough of Telford and Wrekin.


Maria is one of our biggest assets and a firm favourite. She provides positive, engaging and meaningful activities to the residents.


She holds support groups on a Monday for residents with dementia which have proved very successful. She also provides weekly exercise classes to keep residents moving to the best of their ability.


Maria enjoys assisting residents in being as independent as possible and helping them reach their goals, whatever they may be.


Maria is always a happy, friendly and smiley person and the residents all appreciate her wonderful activities and trips out into the community.
