My Auntie has been under the superb care of Birkdale Tower since earlier this year. They have bent over backwards to help her and kept us updated with her progress. She really responds so well to all the amazing staff and loves the food. We are noticing that she is getting stronger, more alert and most of all she is happy. I would really recommend this home.

We have been very happy with the care my mum receives. The reception staff are always so welcoming and are often able to tell us where she is or what she has been doing. The care staff are attentive, gentle, kind and supportive, and the home is always clean and well cared for. There is a good variety of activities, with a genuine effort to include as many residents as possible. The regular social media updates are also really helpful and gives us a little insight into what she has been doing and enjoying. There have been a couple of time she has needed outside medical attention. Staff have remained calm supportive and reassuring. We have also felt that her after care has been thorough, which has helped to alleviate what can otherwise be a very stressful time. Visiting a parent with advanced dementia is never easy, but the atmosphere within the home brings positivity to what can be an incredibly difficult and emotionally upsetting period. Most importantly, we feel that the staff do their best to ensure that her life remains comfortable, dignified and as comfortable.

Very friendly I am very happy for my friends care . My friend seems very happy . Loves chatting with staff . Enjoys trips out and bingo , looks forward to activities, especially staff fancy dress. likes the food , has a wonderful view off the garden , care is very good

My mum has been living at Parklands for over 2 years now and we think its a lovely clean place, with great staff and care. The home has had a change of ownership in the last 12 months and it is evident to see the investment in the site, the new management and the facilities are improving. Whilst there is more activities to be had, to keep the residents busy, distracted and appreciative, the increase in the last 12 months make this one of the best homes in Southport. I have had to look at other options at the behest fo the local council and Parklands stands above many, many, many homes. Thank you and good luck

Staff are excellent and really care about the residents. The activities team is excellent and put on a full programme of events each week. You can tell real thought goes into the activities and the resident appreciate it.

It is very obvious too that our friend has been so well cared for in every way all through his time at Birkdale.

Birkdale Tower Lodge provided excellent care for my father, when he was forced into respite when my mother had an accident.

My Dad suffers from dementia and has some complex health needs but I was always confident that he was getting the best care available from both the medical staff and carers at Birkdale Tower Lodge.

All of the staff were genuinely caring and dedicated to their role. The care home itself is beautiful and more reminiscent of a five star hotel! I was very impressed.

My aunt has been a resident at Oaksprings since 12/23. The care and support she has received is excellent. The unit she is on is well led, staff are lovely facilities are spotless. The unit lead and deputy keep me up to date with her care, more importantly they have ensured her changing needs are met. Not only do they cate about the residents but family and friends. I appreciate they are working in a very demanding unit but the staff cope admirably. Big thanks to them!

Whilst very happy with my dad's overall care; he is always clean & tidy and the staff are lovely, I am disappointed when I look on social media family & friends to note that the majority of activities/entertainments seem to take place on Willow/Walnut suites and very few on Maple suite (where my dad is). When there have been activities on Maple he has joined in and enjoyed himself. I understand about consent, but the best way to approach my dad is not to ask 'do you want to....' but say something like 'lets go here, lets do this' etc. I have already raised this issue with the Oak Springs team outlining my concerns for dads well being.

I find Jackie always helpful and very professional when I visit Mum. No matter when I and family and friends she is always pleasant and goes out of her way to assist. When I hear her talking to prospective new family members who are visiting and she is always knowledgeable and courteous. She is an asset to the company.

The staff cared for my mother-in-law exceptionally well during her short stay and were extremely helpful following her passing.

Jackie is extremely welcoming every time I visit Oak Springs Care Home and she is on duty. Always asks about my mum and what plans we have. Whenever I have had to ring and speak to Jackie she has always gone out of her way to get messages to my mum.

All residents looked very well cared for and the atmosphere was calm and inviting. I would recommend this Home to others.

My grandad was admited to birkdale tower for restbite for a week. He got along so well with the staff. They were so caring and helpful with him and myself. The place is lovely, the atmosphere is great and such amazing food choices.

My auntie has been cared for at St. Helens Hall and Lodge and I cannot thank the staff enough for the kindness and compassion they have shown her. She is in the end stages of dementia and the care, patience, and love they show towards her means so much to our family.

I would especially like to mention Sharon, Joanne and Michelle, who have all been wonderful. They have been incredibly caring towards my auntie and very supportive and helpful to me and my family during such a difficult time. They always keep us informed and are there if we have any questions or worries.

The home itself is always clean, tidy and welcoming. It gives us great comfort knowing my auntie is being looked after so well.

I am very pleased that we chose St. Helens Hall and Lodge for my auntie's care and I'm very grateful to all the staff for everything they do.
