I live in Australia and have recently visited my Mum (for the first time since she moved to the care home) a number of times during my UK stay. It was reassuring to observe Mum in a bright, welcoming environment with caring staff. It was good to put faces to names of staff who answer the phone when

Hi can't say enough about St helens care home .the staff or brilliant very helpful they do alot of activities and they get my mum involved the best.way possible with her disability. The staff at the home are fantastic the caretaker Graham the super cooks the care team are all amazing they helped my mum so much I can't thank them enough.
They genuinely cared for mum and went above and beyond to make her stay comfortable

My mother in law was a resident here for about 8 months until she passed away on 1/4/25. The day she went from Oaksprings into hospital.
I always found the carers friendly, helpful and happy to explain things to you. The Activity staff always tried to get everyone involved in craft, knitting, bingo
etc I would especially like to thank one staff member in particular who really took charge when my mother-in-law was ill but I must also say how disappointed I was with the 2 managers who sadly couldn't pick up the phone to offer their condolences when my mother-in-law passed away neither made any contact with us.

This is an excellent care home. I can't speak highly about them. My father has settled in so well, the staff are so helpful and caring. As as family we where worried when he was at home but now that he has 24/7 care he is settled and so are we.
They keep you updated if they have any health issues which
is so reassuring.
The facilities in the home are superb. Movie room, quiet lounges, other lounges. Activities.
10/10 for everything.

The staff in this home are amazing my father had a rare illness psp he was more than a handful yet they gave him the best care we were welcome anytime of the day and night i never worried about him me and sister went daily at different times and all residents were treated the same a big thank you to

Amazing staff. Friendly and go out of their way to support residents and family alike.
As a family, we feel that Mum has settled in remarkably well and all her needs are catered for.
You can't put a value on leaving mum after every visit and reassured she is safe.

Oak Springs has been a game-changer for my dad. He was in a different home before and had deteriorated quite quickly. The change I've seen in my Dad since coming here is unbelievable. He is always happy and so content now and the staff go above and beyond. The daily activities are amazing and everything
feels very much personable. My dad doesn't feel like just a number. They know him, his likes, his dislikes and it feels like a 'family' when visiting. Thank you so much for taking good care of him!

Mum was a resident of Oak Springs for over two years. At 91 she became ill and was taken to hospital and then released back to the care home on end-of-life care. I was privileged to stay with Mum in the care home for the last couple of days of her life. I cannot praise the staff enough. She was treated
with so much kindness and care. The staff were wonderful with Mum and myself. I am so grateful for everything they did for Mum and myself. Nothing was too much trouble.
They made a horrible event a lot easier. Mum was kept comfortable to the end and treated with dignity and respect.

My Father was a resident at Oak Springs from early in 2023. He had dementia and it was a difficult decision for him to be placed in care. He passed away early this month. The staff and care of Dad was wonderful. He was content, happy and so well loved by the staff. My family will always be grateful.

I wish to thank all the staff at Oak Springs for the wonderful care given to my husband during his time as a resident with O.S. He was admitted as a full-time resident in March 2023. From the time of his admission he was treated with great care, respect, and understanding myself and my family are full
of gratitude for those who looked after my husband so well. We cannot thank the carers and all those in Oak Springs enough. My husband was content and calm throughout his time with O.S. and even though he was unable to communicate efficiently the staff met his needs with care and dignity. It gave me great peace of mind to know that we the right decision. Sincere thanks.

My Nan moved into Oak Springs in July.
To say every single expectation of ours has been surpassed is an understatement. Nan has been treated with so much dignity and respect.
The staff are truly amazing! Nan has done more in the 4 weeks living at Oak Springs than in the last 10 years living independently.
She has had her hair cut and styled, her nails painted she has even been to the cinema.
Her room is perfect with a lovely courtyard view. The sense of community is outstanding, I could literally list all staff members' names for special recognition as all have played such an important part in nans adjustment to her new life! Many thanks! truly!

St Helen's Hall has far exceeded our expectations with the level of care and consideration staff show for the residents and their families. My daughter recently got married and the staff helped my mum get ready and one of the ladies accompanied her and looked after her all day. It made our day so much
easier as we could all relax and enjoy ourselves knowing Mum was being looked after. The carer was brilliant. Can't thank her enough. All Mum's friends have told their families when it's time for them to need care St Helen's Hall is where they want to be. I didn't realise care homes could be this good. Thank you to all the staff.

My wife has been in Oak Springs for five years. Although a terrible illness, Alzheimer's, she is well looked after and seems reasonably happy.

My friend was a resident of Oak Springs for over 6 years. The care provided has been exemplary. She was cared for during the very difficult period of Covid. Inevitably time was a number of challenges. The manager and her staff always met these challenges in a positive and caring way. They responded
to my friend's needs in an imaginative and creative way. I have always found the staff to be approachable, supportive and caring. I am so grateful for all the care they have provided. Thank you.

Highly recommend, this care home has made an astounding difference to my dad in such a short time.
The team here are angels, so caring dedicated and attentive. Highly focused on what is best for my dad, his care and safety. Instead of being left to his own devices in his room, with little personal
care, which has happened in other homes, he is gently encouraged into communal areas and engaged and conversed with. His personal care has also increased and he has never looked better.
I cannot thank the team enough, four members of staff in particular.
My dad is happy, settled, cared for, and safe.
I visited and assessed a lot of homes in my search for the right one for Dad. I'm
so happy we chose Oak Springs.
