overall, the care has been good and the staff have been kind. However we were very disappointed that a new bottle of expensive perfume went missing from my mothers room we reported it but unfortunately it was not recovered. we hope the home reviews its procedures to help prevent residents belongings from going missing in the future.

Ribble Court staff were all very caring, respectful, friendly and professional towards our family member resident. As well as towards myself and other members of family who visited. There were quiet areas and a communal area for visitors, as required and for me personally. The coffee bar and endless supply of biscuits (not to mention bakes made by the kitchen staff leader and team) were a godsend. Confidentiality when speaking openly in friendly chat and requests for help or advice was respected. And overall, it was our family member resident home and ours too! ,

This is a good residential place in a lovely setting. Rooms are nice and plenty of regular activities. Staff are lovely and very helpful throughout the time my mum was there. On the downside there were safeguarding concerns which I did not expect in such a place. There was also no indication upon taking the place as to what the position would be when mum transferred to local authority funding. If a relative is to be expected to pay such a high top up fee (£700 per week) this should be made clear from the start. Had this been made clear to me, I would have chosen another placement. As it was, she had the stress of having to move from Ribble Court to another placement where the top up fee was waived.

Thank you for your review, i am sorry to read that your experience was not great especially where the Safeguard Concern was raised. My husband has settled in nicely and interacts with all staff and speaks fondly of the care and time they give him. He gets all medication on time checking regularly on any pain he may have and acts on it immediately. They check his skin and its better than it has been for a long time. I myself am more relaxed knowing how well they look after him when I'm not there. Everything is calm all staff speak to us and smile making it look so easy, which shows all the effort that they put in. Well done x

I was the LPA for a gentleman who was in Ribble Court as a CHC resident for over two years due to his deteriorating health condition that resulted him in no longer being able to live in his sheltered accommodation upon hospital discharge in 2023 until his passing in May 2025. The care he received was not only medically excellent but the care and compassion shown by all staff in making him feel safe settled secure and loved by all during his last years and his resulting quality of life was something that I will be eternally grateful and thankful for. The manager and all her team were not only incredible in how they looked after the gentleman but they were also very helpful to me in dealing with all his affairs and external agencies.

Thank you to all at Ribble Court.

My experience of Ribble Court has always been positive since my wife came there in spring 2024.

Over the weekend 14/15 June she developed a chest infection following a cold- nothing was too much trouble and staff were very attentive, contacting me and getting the meds she needed as soon as possible. She is now improving. She settled in well and the family believe she is happy.

First and foremost the home is a secure safe, clean and when you enter at reception the home is clean and smells lovely. The staff are dedicated, providing excellent care. The laundry service is excellent. Chef is very good providing varied meals. My medication which is most important to me is administered promptly at times prescribed with due diligence.

I can only recommend the care home to everyone. I went there for rehab after a fall and surgery. I could not walk at first but with the help of the physio's I am now walking and home.
Regarding the rest of the staff they are the greatest, kind, professional and would do anything for you. The food is good and varied, always meat and veggie option.
The activities staff work very hard, trying to find new things for the residents to do.

Sunday is baking day and we had fun, not always successful. My stay was very successful.

We moved Mum to Ribble Court from another care home because we had become concerned that her care needs had changed and were not being met.

Mum settled straight away at Ribble Court. She has now had her medical and care needs reassessed. The care Mum has received has been excellent and tailored to her changing needs. Staff are always kind and helpful and Mum seems so much happier. This has been a huge relief to us as a family knowing we are getting the best possible care for her.
