I would like to thank the Carers and Activities coordinators for the care and support they are giving my Mum. I enjoy seeing my Mum looking well and enjoying her social activities on social media, as I do not live close by. The management team keep me informed and up-to-date with my Mum's wellbeing.
Thank you.

The care afforded to my Grandma for almost the last 3 years has been fantastic. Her dementia has developed since she has lived at Fleetwood Hall and her needs can be challenging however the staff have been patient and caring with her. She has developed strong bonds and trust with the care team. The
home itself always appears clean and looked after and the rooms are large, light and airy. There are plenty of communal spaces for residents to enjoy.
When she was able to enjoy trips out there was plenty on offer, and there are regularly visitors to the home who engage the residents with a variety of activities in addition to the in house ones. I like the social media updates and the fact that visitors can call when it suits for the most part. Staff are quick to answer queries and questions and have kept family members up to date. I would, and do, recommend this home to others for spacious environment, facilities and overall care.

When my Dad was transferred to the care home from hospital, his health had deteriorated to a point he did not have the strength to lift himself out of a chair or bed, walk unaided, had lost a huge amount of weight in a short period of time and he was falling multiple times a day. He moved into Fleetwood
Hall on Christmas Eve 2025 and as I wrote this review on 1 February 2026 he has improved beyond measure. He is up and about, smiling, doing his puzzles again which he had lost a love for, he has gained weight and has a love for eating again. He is in such good spirits and has nothing but good things to say about the staff and care he receives every day. Because of this home, Dad has a lease of life again. Our family and myself are so grateful for everything you have done for him. We can not say thank you enough. If you are looking for somewhere to place a loved one who needs extra care I would recommend this home a 1000 times over. Our Dad's improvement is immeasurable. Thank you.

My mother moved to Fleetwood Hall in January 2025 and was in a terrible condition. Five months later my mum has a smile on her face, is cared for very well enjoys the food, loves the staff has experienced days out that have been organised like the circus, and fish and chips. Loved the pony visits to
the home. All the staff from the management, admin, activities organiser, carers. cooks have been brilliant and caring it also enables me as a son to relax knowing my mum is safe, and entertained, while I am not there and most of all cared for.

Since my mom has been at Fleetwood Hall she has been happy and content. I therefore have peace of mind she is safe in her home environment. The care afforded to her is excellent and it is evident that her basic needs are catered for. The staff have a great understanding of her care needs, evident both
on a practical basis and with her care plan.
I am blessed that Mum is in a care home, that has a high standard of care and therefore the staff here should be commended for this as they define the ethos of a high standard of care, treating residents with both dignity and respect.

My mum had to come into care in 2023 as she had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Dementia as we could no longer keep her safe in her own home. The care she receives is excellent the carers have so much patience with her especially when she is having a bad day. Their care also extends to me making sure
I am okay when I have a difficult visit.

The premises feel bright, airy and spacious but still retain a homely feeling. It also smells fresh and clean. The en-suite facilities mean that privacy is easy to maintain. The management team were very understanding and accommodating during delays to mum's entry to the home caused by ineffective hospital
discharge processes. Mum was still rather poorly when she entered Fleetwood Hall but the team took on the responsibility for getting her better. I visit regularly and almost each time a member of staff has updated me on mums progress before I've even got to her. All of the staff are friendly and courteous to residents and family and within the constraints of their workload take the time to talk. I'm impressed calmness they display. As proof of the pudding, mum has regained weight, is eating well and looks far less frail compared with when she arrived.
Reply from Joanne Warren, Registered Manager at Fleetwood HallThank you for your very encouraging and comprehensive review. I am so pleased that you find the home to be welcoming and clean. It is also really nice to hear that you feel the staff are friendly and courteous and update you regularly. All the teams work very hard to provide the best level of environment, care and support to all our residents, so it is wonderful that this is recognised. I will ensure your comments are passed on to the team. Thanks again

My uncle has progressed remarkably since being in Fleetwood Halls, so much so he is now well enough to return home within the next month or so. The staff and management have Been brilliant with him and I seriously don't think he would be at the stage he is now if it wasn't for their help and commitment.
We know exactly where to turn to should we ever require this type of service again down the road. I think my uncle will miss everyone as much as he'll be missed.

My friend was admitted for nine weeks for safety reasons as she kept falling at home. The staff were wonderful and my friend was soon into the swing of things.

On the occasions I have visited my relatives, there always seems to be a happy atmosphere in the home and I feel that they are well cared for.
Lots of activities, entertainment or outings are available to the residents who are able/inclined to take part which enriches their stay.

to be hard-working and friendly and do their best to support those in their care who have a wide variety of needs.

Current Review Score: 9.7 (9.701)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.7 (9.701) out of 10 for Fleetwood Hall is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 16 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.9 out of 5 from 15 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.826 for Fleetwood Hall is calculated as follows: ( (168 Excellents x 5) + (16 Goods x 4) + (2 Satisfactorys x 3) + (3 Poors x 2) + (1 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 190 Ratings = 4.826
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.875 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Fleetwood Hall is based on 15 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.875
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 62 registered maximum number of service users is 12.4, which has been reached with 15 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
