The staff cannot do enough for you. Since arriving, Mum has started to settle in despite the huge adjustment. We've been so pleased with the way they have responded to our numerous requests and as a family we feel relieved that Mum will be cared for. Any teething problems have been dealt with swiftly.
Thank you very much for your very positive review. We are so glad that you have felt supported and that we have been able to respond to your requests. Thanks again.
My father was only in Fleetwood Hall Care Home for a short space of time before he passed away. The care and attention he received was excellent. He was treated with the utmost kindness and respect by all the staff and, as his family, we also felt very well supported through a difficult time. Thank you.
Thank you so much for taking the time to do this, during your bereavement. I am so glad that you found the care and attention was delivered with kindness and respect and you felt supported. We are sorry for your loss. Kind regards
The care home is filled with love and dedication to the patients that they are looking after. There isn't an issue too big or small that they won't help you with or solve. All carers take time out of their busy schedules to connect with us family members, making us feel at peace when leaving.
Thank you so much for your very kind and thoughtful review. It is so satisfying to read words like love and dedication. I am very pleased that you feel carers connect with you and that staff help with any issues. Thank you again
Amazing staff all round. Looked after dad since he's been in here and have no complaints whatsoever all the while dad's been resident. Very professional staff. Dad is well looked after and nothing is too much trouble.
Thank you so much for your lovely review and your positive comments about all the staff. It is always encouraging to get this feedback and to be able to share it with the staff teams. Thank you.
Very clean, staff friendly and lovely people. My number one care home.
Thank you very much for taking the time to review our home. Your very positive and complimentary comments are great to hear, and the staff teams will be very happy with this feedback. We are so glad you are settling in and enjoying your time with us.
Kind regards,
A lovely garden, and I like to potter about in the garden - love it.
Lots of my friends come and see me.
Thank you for taking the time to place a review. We are glad that you have settled in and like to see you enjoying the garden, the summer house and the facilities. It is a pleasure to have you with us. Thank you.
The food is very good and well presented at the moment we have acquired a new chef who is top notch (don't let him go).
Thank you for your review and for your positive words. I am so pleased you have good relationships with the staff and enjoy your banter. I will pass on your comments to the kitchen and the Head Chef as we appreciate the feedback. Thanks again.
Excellent care home, my wife could not be in a better place.
Thank you for your lovely comments, I am so pleased that you feel this way. It is lovely to welcome you into the home daily for your visits and your trips out with your wife. It really is heartwarming to see. I will pass on your kind words to the staff teams. Regards, Joanne
Surroundings both in the home and garden are beautiful. Food looks of excellent quality and staff caring and lovely with dad. My only constructive point would be that there are obviously not enough staff, quite regularly and this has an impact on regularity of washing/shaving/personal hygiene checks. I know they are trying hard to recruit. It is a lovely home so I hope this helps attract some more fantastic staff to join your great team.
Thank you for taking the time to place your review, and for your kind words regarding the home, the food and the staff. We have been recruiting staff and at times do have sickness last minute, but we do work to staffing the home to the needs of the residents, so it can fluctuate to the occupancy....
I couldn't ask for better care for my mum. Staff and management have gone above and beyond to settle my mum in. Five members of staff have especially been loving, caring and encouraging her to socialise. I would recommend this home.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am pleased that you are happy with the care provided and that your Mum is settling in. I will pass on your comments to the staff teams. Thanks again.
Excellent staff - very caring and friendly. My dad genuinely loves being here and the food is fantastic.
Thank you for your lovely comments, we appreciate the feedback. We love that your Dad loves being here, we love him being here! Thanks again, Joanne
My mum-in-law has been in Fleetwood Hall for many years suffering with Alzheimer's and Vascular Dementia and she could not have received any better care. The carers are brilliant with her. All the staff do a fantastic job and are all very caring people. They have great activities and also a beautiful garden for the residents. We love to see the pictures on social media which also shows how happy all the residents are. As a family we could have not chosen any where better for Mum. Thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to provide a review and for your kind words. The staff work very hard to give the best possible care and it is great that this is recognised. I am so glad you enjoy the photos and updates on our social media page and you are able to see them. Thank you again.
My husband has been a resident of Fleetwood Hall since January 2022. I was very anxious about having to make the decision that I could no longer care for him at home and was also worried about how he would respond to this situation as he is a very independent person. However, now that six months have passed, I am pleased to say that he has settled in well due to the excellent care he receives from all the staff. He is shown respect and is treated with dignity. He has a good relationship with the staff and management as well as other residents. There is a good community atmosphere and the facilities are of a good standard. My husband enjoys the excellent entertainment provided every day which adds a lot to his quality of life. At the moment he is planning a special meal for Bastille Day! He and the excellent chef have planned a special French menu, complete with French flags and bunting. I must also add that the food is excellent and is a credit to the chef and his team.
Thank you for your lovely words, it is really good to get such positive feedback that I can share with the staff teams. I am particularly pleased that you make reference to the atmosphere in the home and that your husband is always treated with dignity. We are all looking forward to Bastille Day,...
My husband spent 3 weeks in Fleetwood Hall for respite care. He was warmly greeted on arrival, his room was freshly decorated and the staff settled him in well. He said the food was tasty and plentiful. I had confidence that he would be well taken care of while I was away looking after other family members. His clothes were laundered well - and the majority of them were returned with him!
Thank you for your feedback and taking the time to provide it. I am so glad you had confidence in us whilst you were away, and we look forward to welcoming your husband back again, should the need arise. Thanks again.
I can't thank the management and staff of Fleetwood Hall enough for all they do for Dad. He is so well looked after, he loves how everyone knows him and treats him like family. The care, the communication, the rooms, the food... I cannot fault it. The food that comes out from that kitchen is amazing, freshly cooked, home baked biscuits and cakes, just fabulous. Fish Friday is Dad's favourite. Dad has his ups and downs but nothing is too much trouble for the brilliant staff. The staff and management of Fleetwood Hall are also very supportive towards me, the relative, as it can be very emotional having a relative in care, but they are so understanding and reassuring. There is always something going on, entertainment, decorations, birthday parties, and Dad is encouraged to join in but also free to take himself off for some peace and quiet if he prefers. The rooms, dining room, lounges and gardens are beautiful and spotlessly clean. I cannot recommend Fleetwood Hall highly enough.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review and for acknowledging the work of all the staff. I am pleased to read all the positives you have found at Fleetwood Hall, we do value your opinion. I appreciate you highlighting the support you feel you have had, since Dad's admission, it can be a...
Mum found the room cold and she asked for an extra quilt but only got a blanket. Mum slept in her dressing gown.
When looking for respite I was told dementia was separate which for mum was perfect as was looking to make friends but I was not informed everyone ate together and entertainment was together, this made it difficult sometimes for what mum came in for and one lady threatened mum.
Checkout was traumatic as staff lost medication and 2 bags of sweets left in reception for mum were taken from her bag.
Thank you for the compliments on our food, our catering team take great pride in our varied menu which...
My mother was a resident of the care home from December 2020 to December 2021 when she passed away. She loved the home and always participated in the activities especially when singing and dancing were on the calendar. She was very well looked after, the staff really cared for the residents. Mum loved to clean also so she helped as best as she could and loved it. When we were allowed to visit she would get tired and I would say what have you been doing today and she would say the workers here are very busy so I help do the cleaning.
Thank you for taking good care of her.
Thank you for taking the time to place your review. It was a pleasure to have mum in the home, and as you say she did enjoy the activities and helping to clean. We very much appreciate that you comment she was very well looked after. We enjoyed you visiting, albeit that it was within the pandemic restrictions. Wishing you and your family well, mum will be sadly missed. Regards, Joanne.
My Mum moved here during the COVID 19 outbreak, we were devastated as a family to find out she could not manage to return home due to health, but when we searched care homes they were full or not taking people on, then we managed to find a space at Fleetwood Care Home which was luckily very close to us all. I feel my Mum is cared for to high standards, the Management team and staff work so hard and always try their best, any problems are rectified without issues and we as a family can relax knowing our Mum is cared for to the best of their abilities. Our family recommended and support Fleetwood Care Home.
Thank you for your kind comments. It is very reassuring to get reviews that recognise the hard work and efforts made by all the staff. I am very pleased that you feel Mum is cared for to a high standard and that you have the reassurance that we try our very best. Thank you again.
Dad settled really well and the staff shows that they can meet his needs. He is happy and safe and they love him. What more could I ask for Dad. Supportive to me through anxiety linked to our experience at a previous care home.
Thank you for your valuable feedback. We are so glad that you find your Dad to be happy and settled and that we love him. So wonderful to hear. We are extremely happy that we have eased your anxieties and that you feel Dad is safe. Thanks again for taking the time to share your views as a relative, we are very grateful.
Fleetwood Hall is extremely professional from the boss to office staff. They are extremely caring. The carers are excellent in their jobs both night and day staff. They are very professional. The chefs make good food.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Your words are very kind and I am very glad that you feel the staff are professional and extremely caring. It is wonderful to receive reviews from our residents, who can provide their experience of living at Fleetwood Hall. We look forward to continuing with you at Fleetwood Hall and making your experience as good as we can.

As part of the Sandstone Care management team, I am thrilled to contribute to providing unparalleled care and support to our residents. It's a privilege to play a part in shaping services and assistance for our elderly community, ensuring they receive the quality of care we would all desire if faced with diminished independence. Witnessing the joy and laughter of our residents is truly the most rewarding aspect of my work.
