ABOUT THE ROLE Are you a Nurse who thrives on making a real and positive

Nurse is pivotal within our homes. You will support the Home Manager
with the management of the home, with a particular emphasis on clinical
nursing leadership which can involve making critical decisions and
managing clinical issues within a person-centred care model. The role
holds responsibility for the quality of nursing assessments, care
planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure that our residents
receive an excellent standard of care. You will be responsible for
leading, motivating and managing your team, actively monitoring and
supervising care practices to ensure that high standards of nursing and
personal care are met and, where necessary, you will provide clinical
guidance and leadership. Hayward Care Centre, named after a local WW1
veteran, Reginald Hayward VC, is located on the outskirts of the
Wiltshire town of Devizes. The home offers compassionate, individualised
residential, dementia and respite care for up to 80 residents. AND IN

or RMN with an active PIN, combined with a minimum of 2 years’
experience of leading a care or clinical team. You will understand and
manage the complexities of a multitude of clinical and psychological
factors that affect the health and well-being of our elderly residents
with a clear understanding of regulatory frameworks and will also have
experience of or be willing to train in: * Medication administration *
Catheterisation * End of life care * Verification of death * Syringe
drivers * Gastrostomy care * Venepuncture * Diabetic awareness * Tissue
viability * Epilepsy awareness * Management of deterioration – sepsis
