What you will receive as a Care Assistant;

  • £13.17 per hour
  • Full-time, permanent contract
  • 38.5 hours per week on a rolling 6-week rota
  • 12 hours shifts, 3 on 3 off, 8am-8pm
  • Based in Burton-on-Trent

What you will be doing as a Care Assistant;

  • Support residents with daily activities such as washing, dressing, eating and maintaining personal hygiene
  • Provide support at meal times
  • Ensure residents maintain good nutrition
  • Assist residents to mobilise safely around the home
  • Undertake light housekeeping duties such as tidying residents’ rooms, making and changing beds, etc.
  • Interacting with, and encouraging residents to socialise and take part in activities
  • Liaise with other care professionals relating to the needs of the residents

What you will need to be successful as a Care Assistant;

  • Experience working within a caring environment
  • NVQ L2 in Direct Care
  • The ability to communicate well and make others feel welcome and comfortable
  • Supervisory and leadership skills, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire
  • Willingness to develop new skills
