Job summary
Unit Lead (Nights). Oak Springs Care Home
- 44 hours (4 nights per week) including weekend working on an alternating rota
- £15.87 per hour
- 8pm-8am shifts
Join us at Oak Springs, our luxury purpose-built residential care home in Wavertree. Here at Oak Springs, we provide the highest standard of residential, respite and dementia care for older people.
Our beautiful 74-bedded home is spread across 3 floors, and our lively team supports the vibrant community of residents to enjoy everything from music rooms and a beauty salon, to peaceful lounge and courtyard areas. We embrace sensory enlightenment, encourage individuality and focus on enhancing quality of life, rather than just preserving it.
As a Unit Lead at our home, your role may involve:
- Undertaking any necessary training
- Providing hands on care and support to our residents
- Maintaining high standards within the care home environment
- Senior-level duties to support the Home Manager, including: completing risk assessments, staff supervisions, appraisals, record-keeping, medication administration, person-centred care planning, audits, liaising with outside professionals, etc.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Senior in a residential or nursing home setting- essential
- A positive outlook and warm personality- essential
- Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)- essential
- Confident in record-keeping and the use of various technologies- essential
- Experience of working with dementia- essential
- Prior experience with writing care plans and carrying out risk assessments- essential
