Job summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents and supporting the smooth running of shifts.

  • Position: Senior Care Assistant
  • Location: Crossways care home - Lostock Gralam, Northwich
  • Contract: 19.5 hour position available - Optional overtime
  • Schedule: 08.00-15.00/15.00-22.00 on a rota basis - Alternate Weekends
  • Salary: £13.25-13.70 per hour
  • Right to work in UK: Sponsorship is not available for this position

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a senior care role preferred
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) or willing to work towards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage care staff during allocated shifts
  • Administer medications safely and accurately
  • Complete and update individual care plans
  • Induct and mentor new staff members
  • Ensure compliance with all care standards and company policies
