Whilst the building is dated, the staff (including non carers) are all friendly and professional. There are often activities going on and some lovely outdoor areas to sit in. They made my mums final weeks dignified and comfortable.

All the staff are excellent, nothing is too much trouble. Making constant checks on her to see to her comfort. We are also treated by all staff well and made very welcome.

Although my Mother was unable to take part, there were always organised activities for the residents to participate in. One other important point - the telephone was always answered promptly, unlike other care homes that we have experienced.

The management and staff make this home. They have amazing caring, great staff. Although the home is very much in need of updating the staff make up for that. We are although very disappointed with the food, they are bland and dry (ie no gravy or beans with meals) of which my dad struggles to eat....

He tells me he loves all the staff and I must say his personal care is second to none. Now he is being cared for his room is always spotless, clean clothes, clean bedding. The home smells clean and you can smell where the cleaners have been. It's all spotless. I couldn't wish for a better home for him to end his days.

The staff are brilliant, caring, patient and understanding. I cannot find fault with them at all. The home is warm and homely, although some areas are a little tired. Mum complains to me that the food is not as good as it was. I do understand this must be a difficult area due to rising costs.

The staff took good care of our mother, particularly when she was very weak and vulnerable. They have been very understanding in handling her vascular dementia. The building and contents do need updating and renewing, it all looks a bit tired. The staff are friendly, caring and kind.

Amanda is a fab member of the team. Amanda enjoys singing to the resident each day and especially on their birthdays.
Stephen is a fab guy. Stephen is a multi-tasker and always goes above and beyond. Stephen enjoys dancing with the resident and never misses a chance to join in the fun.
Debbie makes time during her daily duties to have a cup of tea and a chat with the residents, and of course joining in with a sing along!
