What You'll Be Doing

As a Care Assistant, you will:

  • Support residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.

  • Assist residents with mobility and moving safely around the home.

  • Encourage independence and choice wherever possible.

  • Support residents with eating and drinking.

  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.

  • Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversations.

  • Monitor and report changes in residents' physical or emotional wellbeing.

  • Maintain accurate records and follow care plans.

  • Promote dignity, privacy, respect, and person-centred care at all times.
