Job Summary
We are seeking TWO dedicated Housekeepers to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our residential care home. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and experience in cleaning services. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to hygiene and presentation is paramount. The Housekeeper will play a vital part in ensuring our clients’ spaces are hygienic, welcoming, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
• Change bed linens and organise rooms to meet client standards
• Maintain supplies and notify management when stock levels are low
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored properly after use
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
• Report any damages or maintenance issues observed during cleaning tasks
• Adhere to organisational policies regarding confidentiality and security of client premises

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning duties efficiently
• Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled hours
• Friendly demeanour with good communication skills for interacting professionally with clients and team members

We have 2 roles avaliable:

18 hours per week, 8am-2pm, 3 days a week, including alternitive weekends 

OR

20 hours per week, 9am-2pm, 4 days a week, including alternitive weekends
