Senior Care Assistant

Windsor Court Care Home is looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join their friendly and passionate care team.

The role of Senior Care Assistant is to supervise a team of Care Assistants to support our residents with their daily needs, using a person-centred approach to care.

Our care staff are responsible for assisting residents with personal care tasks, mealtimes, medication, mobility and other areas of their daily lives. Providing support with kindness and compassion, ensuring residents feel happy, secure and comfortable within the home.

As a Senior Care Assistant you will have the opportunity to make a positive difference to the lives of others, while also leading and inspiring the staff within the team. This is a very varied role, ideal for someone who is compassionate and reliable with good leadership skills.

Responsibilities

·  Supervising a team of Care Assistants.

·  Problem solving and offering support for team members.

·  Ensuring care tasks are completed to a high standard.

·  Assisting with residents' daily care needs.

·  Helping during mealtimes. 

·  Chatting and interacting with residents.

·  Being there to provide emotional support to the residents.

Requirements

·  Friendly and compassionate.

·  Strong leadership abilities.

·  Sensitive to the needs of others, kind and caring.

·  Previous experience in care is not required.

·  Reliable and enthusiastic to get involved.

·  Focused on the wellbeing of residents and staff.
