Nicholas James Care Homes, a leading provider of residential, nursing, and dementia care, is seeking a reliable and skilled Laundry Assistant to join our Housekeeping Team at our care home in Southfleet.

Our homes provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for older people, including those living with dementia. The housekeeping team plays a vital role in ensuring the building, equipment, and facilities remain safe and well maintained for both residents and staff.

About the Role

As a Laundry Assistant, you’ll help to make sure our residents receive quality care and support in the best possible surroundings. By making sure each resident has clean clothing and bedding, you’ll be playing your own part in helping everyone to feel comfortable and at home. The role of Laundry Assistant involves sorting, washing, drying, ironing and contributing to the overall look and feel of the home. It’s a great way to get a sense of what it takes to keep everything running smoothly in our homes and it could open up other opportunities as you develop.

Requirements

  • Previous care experience is desirable but not essential.
