The home

Situated in Nantwich, Cheshire, a beautiful medieval market town on the banks of the River Weaver and surrounding glorious Cheshire countryside, St Catherines is a purpose built 39 bedded care home which provides specialist nursing care to older people and people living with dementia.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Assist with basic food preparation, such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.

·  Help prepare and serve meals and beverages to residents.

·  Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.

·  Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, storage areas, and dining areas as required.

·  Follow food hygiene, health and safety, and infection control procedures.

·  Ensure proper storage, rotation, and labeling of food items.

·  Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.

·  Dispose of waste safely and maintain recycling procedures.

·  Support the chef or cook in meeting residents' dietary needs, including special diets and allergies.

·  Report equipment faults, safety concerns, or shortages of supplies.

·  Help maintain accurate temperature and cleaning records where required.
