The home
Situated in the quiet, close knit village of Elworth, Sandbach in Cheshire, St Stephens is a purpose built 40 bedded care home which provides specialist residential and nursing care to older people and people living with dementia.
Key Responsibilities:
Housekeeping Management
- Supervise, support, and coordinate the housekeeping and laundry teams.
- Allocate daily cleaning duties and monitor completion.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout resident bedrooms, communal areas, bathrooms, dining rooms, and staff facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Address housekeeping issues and implement improvements where required.
Laundry Services
- Oversee the collection, washing, ironing, and distribution of residents' clothing and household linens.
- Ensure residents' personal belongings are handled respectfully and returned correctly.
- Maintain infection control procedures within laundry operations
