- £23.65 per hour
- Contracted hours: 33 hours per week (shifts) or 44 hours per week (4 shifts) available
- Shift patterns: 8pm-8am

Are you a caring and dedicated Registered Nurse who thrives in a calm, focused night-time environment? Dalton Court Care Home in the beautiful town of Cockermouth is looking for an experienced Night Nurse to provide exceptional care and reassurance to our residents while they rest.
Our 60-bed home delivers high-quality Nursing, Dementia and Palliative care in a warm, homely setting. As a Night Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night.

As a Registered Nurse on Nights, your role may include:
· Delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care throughout the night
· Monitoring residents’ health and responding promptly to clinical needs
· Administering medication safely and accurately
· Creating a calm, reassuring environment to promote rest and well-being
· Supporting residents with night-time routines and individual care plans
· Responding to emergencies with confidence and professionalism
· Working closely with the care team to ensure continuity of care
· Providing guidance and support to night care staff
What are we looking for?
· Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
· A compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
· Confidence working independently and making clinical decisions overnight
· Strong communication and teamwork skills
· Experience in a nursing home setting (preferred but not essential)
· Flexibility to work night shifts on a rolling rota, including some weekends
