At Aurem Care, we are looking for a compassionate, committed and driven Deputy Manager (Clinical) to support the delivery of outstanding, person-centred care.
About the Role
As Deputy Manager (Clinical), you will work closely with the Home Manager to lead the nursing and care teams, ensuring high-quality clinical care is consistently delivered to our residents.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will support staff development, maintain clinical excellence and drive continuous improvement across the home.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Home Manager in developing and implementing service improvements
- Provide strong leadership to the nursing and care teams
- Supervise and support nurses through day-to-day management and clinical supervision
- Mentor and develop nurses to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Work closely with GPs and healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive the best care
- Ensure care delivery is tailored to each resident’s individual needs
- Maintain high clinical standards, including infection control and medication management
- Monitor care practices and ensure compliance with best practice and regulatory standards
- Ensure staff training is completed and embedded into daily practice
- Promote safeguarding, dignity and person-centred care at all times
- Support audits, compliance and regulatory requirements (including CQC standards)
- Ensure clear communication and effective handovers across the team
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- A Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN
- Experienced in a Deputy or leadership role within a care setting
- Clinically strong with excellent care planning knowledge
- A confident leader with the ability to inspire and support teams
- Knowledgeable of CQC standards and compliance requirements
- A strong communicator with residents, families and professionals
- Organised, proactive and able to manage day-to-day operations
- Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care
What We Offer
- Full-time contract, 42 hours per week
- Supernumerary hours: 24 (2 days per week)
- £26 per hour (£56,784 per annum, full-time equivalent)
