Salary: £12.82 per hour
Hours: Bank, Part-Time and Full-Time positions available
Shifts: Monday to Sunday, including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis

St. Joseph's Nursing Home is looking for caring, compassionate, and dedicated individuals to join our team as Care Assistants.

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will support residents with their daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence, choice, and wellbeing. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care and support to residents.
  • Assisting with mobility, nutrition, hydration, and daily living activities.
  • Supporting residents with social and recreational activities.
  • Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns.
  • Promoting residents' dignity, privacy, and independence at all times.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Following all safeguarding, infection prevention, and health and safety procedures.

  • Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
