Cornerstone Healthcare is looking for a passionate Housekeeping Assistant  to join our award-winning team at Marula Lodge . We care to 42 residents  across four units , supporting those with varying complex care. Our person-centred approach focuses on each individual’s unique challenges, not just their diagnosis. We're proud to be Rated GOOD by the CQC.

Your Working Pattern
We offer a stable, structured rota to support your work-life balance:

• Monday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday – 08:00 to 18:00
• Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday – 08:00 to 18:00

10-hour shifts , averaging 35 hours per week
 
What You’ll Bring

• A passion for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation
• A friendly and proactive approach with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, their families, and your colleagues
• Confident communication skills – both written and verbal

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

• As a valued member of our housekeeping team, you’ll play a key role in creating a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for our residents.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home
• Cleaning and caring for all communal areas and residents’ rooms – including vacuuming, polishing, and mopping
• Receive training on health and safety protocols, including the safe use of cleaning products and equipment
• Ensuring all housekeeping supplies are clean, stocked, and ready for use
• While you won’t be delivering hands-on care, your warm presence and attention to detail will help ensure our residents feel respected, comfortable, and uplifted throughout your time with them
