Job summary

The Role

As a Bank Care Assistant, you will support residents with their daily living needs while promoting choice, independence and dignity. You will work as part of a dedicated team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.

Duties Include:

  • Assisting residents with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting.
  • Supporting residents with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment.
  • Assisting with meals and encouraging good nutrition and hydration.
  • Providing companionship and emotional support.
  • Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns.
  • Promoting residents' independence and respecting their individual preferences.
  • Working closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensuring a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents.

About You

  • Previous experience in a care setting is preferred.
  • A caring, compassionate and professional approach.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable, flexible and able to work shifts, including weekends when required.
  • A willingness to learn and develop within the role.

Training and Development

Full training and ongoing support will be provided, including mandatory training and opportunities for career development. This position is offered on a bank basis initially, with the potential for a permanent contract for candidates who demonstrate commitment and excellence in their role.
