We are recruiting at Kingfisher Court Residential Home with two opportunities to join our team as Senior Care.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Care Assistant to support both residents and colleagues, while working closely with the Registered Manager. The role involves overseeing care delivery, allocating tasks, and helping to maintain high standards of care within a supportive and welcoming environment. You will also support the Registered Manager with audits, supervisions, pre-admission assessments, care planning, and on-call duties. This is a full-time position. Working hours will include Senior Care Assistant shifts (07:45–20:00) and supernumerary hours to support the Registered Manager (example 09:00–17:00). We are seeking a dedicated Senior Carer (Nights) to join our care team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a senior care position, and a compassionate approach to supporting residents. This role involves supervising and supporting care staff, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring the highest standards of personalised care within a care home environment. The Senior Care Assistant will maintain effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Rota basis, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Location: Clifton, Nottingham, NG11
  • Required: NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care or above
  • We are unable to offer sponsorship

Further Responsibilities include:

  • Supervise and support the care team, providing guidance and leadership to ensure high-quality care
  • Develop, review, and implement personalised care plans tailored to individual needs
  • Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, medication management, and nutrition
  • Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals promptly
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the care environment
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems
  • Communicate effectively with residents’ families to keep them informed about their loved ones’ wellbeing
