I cannot recommend Kings Bromley Care Home enough. All the staff were incredibly caring and treated my step mum with love and respect. When I visited from Australia, everyone was so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Prior to visiting, when I was still in Australia, the staff were so accommodating ensuring I was able to call and speak to my step mum and also video call her on their social media connection. Towards the later stages on days when she was more alert the staff would call me. I can thank them enough, they went above and beyond my expectations.

My husband is a resident here, and has dementia. It has been, and is, a very worrying heartbreaking time seeing my husband battling this awful illness, my husband is receiving excellent care here at Kings Bromley, the staff are caring, friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. I have no worries, and this is a great relief to me. The home itself is clean, tidy, and quiet. My husband has settled in so well, and this is down to the excellent staff. I am kept informed of all aspects of my husband's care, including medication, illnesses, Doctor visits. If I have any questions I am confident that when I call, someone always answers the telephone. I'm impressed with the cleanliness of my husband's clothes, and that an inventory is kept of ALL of his belongings (even the pictures on the wall) . I highly recommend this care home, and grateful for all of the staff for caring for my husband, as he is a very very special man who deserves the best care. Thank you.

Dad has been at Coton Grange for nearly 3 weeks now and although he is finding it difficult to settle, I can not fault the staff and their efforts to help him and support the family. Thank you.

My mother has been at Bearwood for 3 months and she is very happy. She comments on how friendly and kind the staff are and how she now feels part of the Bearwood "Community ". I have noticed a marked improvement in her physical and mental health since being at Bearwood and I am delighted with how she is being cared for. The management are also extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

My wife came here in 2024 after spending a year at a previous care home. The difference was chalk and cheese my wife had been here for 18 months. I was never happy putting my wife into a care home and I felt quite guilty as its a 24/7 job and i xouldnt cope.PINXTON manor completely changed my mind it's been like home from home not only did they look after my wife they also took great care of me amd they have become part of my family. I cannot recommend this place and no one should have any doubts in putting a loved one here. It should be called house of Angels because that's what they are in my mind they deserve 10+ especially in these hard times

Haddon house in clowne near chesterfield are absolutely brilliant/they only had my dad for a couple of months but his stay there was 100% more caring than any of the others he's been in! Rachel did her absolute best to get him there. Was amazing can not thank her enough! The events team Dawn & Kat are bloody lovely and so caring to each resident individually! The staff there are brilliant so with it, so tactful, just nice and encouraging towards all the residents! I'm so so pleased my dad had that home as his last home. Defo recommend it for anyone of your loved ones suffering from dementia or home life! The events they have are brilliant and lovely to attend. They welcome everyone !

My mother has settled in wonderfully thanks to the kindness and care of the staff & management. She has been taken out to the local village, been helped greatly with her mobility & loves having her nails painted by one of the staff - People here are kind, caring & I'm pleased I made the right choice of home for my mum.

The staff are always friendly and helpful, constantly interacting with the residents. My friend has been at the home a few weeks and the change in him has been noticeable. He looks very well and is happy to be looked after by the lovely team. Nothing is too much trouble and the carers are always very cheerful.

Mom was moved to the Coton house after a stay in hospital. After the initial period of respite care had lapsed we decided that, with her dementia she would benefit by remaining at the care home as a permanent resident. Mom seems to have settled and she has a group of friends. We know that she is safe and being well cared for and the staff seem to have endless patience. We have always been made to feel welcome when visiting, the staff are always busy but are approachable and will find time to talk to us. Wolverhampton council found Mom the place initially and we feel that we were really lucky. There was no question of moving her after the initial period had lapsed.

It has to be said that the Clinical Lead at Clifton Manor must take a lot of the credit for the rehabilitation of my wife, and the whole family will be forever grateful for the attention and care provided by everyone.

Knowing she is safe, comfortable and well cared for gives us great peace of mind. We would happily recommend Coton House to other families looking for care for a loved one.

We contacted the care home to ask if it was possible to arrange admission for my mother who was in secondary care. There was a delay, however in my mother's discharge from hospital- The care home team held the bed. They reassured us and made the admission to the care home seamless. From the first moment my mother arrived she was made welcome, cared for with staff going above and beyond. They were responsive, caring and made my mothers last month happy and content. We are very grateful my wife and I. Thank you so much.

Very positive for care/professionalism mum receives. Lovely staff team - wonderfully impressed by continued activities co-ordinator who engages with all residents to individual needs - wonderful. Care manager is extremely friendly and approachable and visible around the home - nice to see. Keep up the good work and improved standards.

My sister Marlene has recently been a resident at King's Bromley Care Home . The personal and nursing care was excellent. She was treated with kindness and respect in all aspects of her care . We as a family were all made to feel very welcome whist visiting. After my sister passed away they were all so lovely and respectful. It's such a friendly homely place. Every single member of staff made her stay the best it could be . Thank you from us all .

It is always a very hard decision for any family to put a loved one in care.We wanted the right care home for mum and after looking at several Coton House gave us what we were looking for. Mum is cared for exactly how we expected. Her personal care was a priority and she is happy with how the carers have been looking after her. Her room is always clean and her washing is always fresh and folded away properly in the drawers. Obviously at first the settling in period, but mum adapted well. The staff have helped us tremendously to make mum comfortable. The senior staff are very observant with any medical needs and are dealt with professionally. Wonderful ladies. The manager Dee has always made us very welcome and has worked on all mums needs to make her comfortable. She listened to us and has made mum feel at home, and always makes time to listen to mum and the family if there is any concerns. I always leave mum feeling happy and relieved she is in a good home.

My Mum has only been in Pinxton Manor for a couple of months but the care she has received is second to none. I felt really guilty putting my mum in a home but she was no longer able to cope at home and was becoming a danger to herself. Due to the care, kindness and friendliness of all the staff at Pinxton Manor she is now eating well and has settled in really well. I can now rest knowing that she is safe and well looked after. When I visit the staff are very welcoming and keep me updated with everything. I would have no hesitation in recommending Pinxton Manor

My mother was transferred to coton house from another care home in October. At first glance the home looked tired. But inside it as a family feel to it and all the staff are friendly and helpful. With a new manager recently appointed and a full time activity coordinator.the home is constantly moving forward and residents and family members are encouraged to attend meetings and have an input. In addition to cooked meals choice of two, tea and snacks are available though out the day.
