The care on the whole is excellent, especially that of the activity coordinators, each time I visit they are engaging the residents in a different activity, how they think of these things I am at a loss to comprehend.

Mum entered St Nicholas House 6 months ago, at short notice. The manager and staff were very accommodating and did everything in their power to settle her quickly. Without exception, I have found the staff to be kind and caring. A particular strength is the range of activities that mum is able to participate
in; there is always something on. I would wholeheartedly recommend St Nicholas to anyone.

The staff here truly stand out - they're consistently supportive, approachable, and always do their best to meet my dad's needs, even when he can be challenging. Knowing that he's well cared for, especially during difficult times, gives me great peace of mind. I'm very grateful to all the carers, nurses,
and staff members.
The telephone support is also excellent; I'm impressed by the prompt responses and regular updates. Please keep it up.
My main feedback is about the facilities and activities, both of which could be improved. The rooms and common areas feel outdated and would benefit from renovation, and the social or recreational activities could be expanded.
Reply from The Manager, Manager at Richmond Court Nursing HomeThank you very much for your kind words. We are very happy to hear that you are satisfied with our service. Everyone at the home have been really friendly, accommodating and kind. It has given us all great piece of mind to know that our mum has round the clock care, is treated really well and kept warm and dry. All the staff have made a real fuss of mum, throwing her a party with cake for her birthday, which
was a lovely surprise. I can't recommend this home and all of their lovely staff, eough. Thank you all so much for all of your tireless work.
Reply from The Manager, Manager at Richmond Court Nursing HomeHi Jo,

Richmond Court has cared for our loved one since 2023, and we are truly grateful. My nan's dementia is very advanced and her needs are complex, but the staff continue to show patience, kindness and compassion. We know it can be overwhelming at times, and we appreciate every effort they make to support
her with dignity and care.
A huge thank you to all the carers, nurses and kitchen staff for everything you do each day. And a special thank you to Jeena, the manager, for her support, leadership and genuine warmth. It means so much to our family.

Living in the SW I don't have the opportunity to regularly visit my Father, but when I am able to visit the welcoming atmosphere as I enter Kings Bromley is consistently evident.
All staff are friendly, supportive, caring and professional and really help to make the visit the very best it can be not
only for those in their care but us visitors too.
Feedback from friends and family is so valuable, as are the regular uplifting social media updates - the videos and photos are such a huge benefit showing the variety of activities and events arranged. It's especially lovely to see such my Father so happy and smiling. I cannot thank you all enough for giving Chris such a wonderful home and for the continued care within your 'family' environment. I bought my "aunt" - not really a blood relative, but a long standing friend of my parents- to stay with me in July 2023. At 96, she was finding it difficult to live in her own home. Her husband and son are deceased and her grandson is autistic and in a hostel. In June 2024 she developed what became
a stage 4 bed sore and was taken to hospital and then to a care home, by direction of social services. I had no experience of care home, but was aware of many shortcomings at that home and hence had her moved to St Nicholas House, which was highly recommended. The recommendations were right, the contrast is amazing. St Nicholas is all that I would imagine a care home should be. My aunt's accommodation is comfortable and well equipped, the staff are caring, friendly and communicative, the food is well thought out and the programme of activities for residents is well thought out and stimulating. St Nicholas House is a model of how a care home should be.
Reply from Vasilica Iovu, Manager at St Nicholas House LtdThank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. We are honoured that you chose St Nicholas House for your aunt's care and are delighted that you have seen the comfort, compassion and dedication of our team. We were so lucky we managed to get a room in the lovely St Nicholas home for our Dad. We had heard such good things about the home and we were certainly not disappointed. Dad was suffering with Dementia and the last two years he needed 24 hour care. I cannot thank the management and all the staff
enough for their kindness and care with our Dad. I was able to visit every day for just over two years and was always made to feel very welcome. Dad was always well looked after and I was kept informed of any changes in his condition by the excellent caring nursing staff. Dad was treated with respect at all times and we couldn't have asked for more. Dad loved to sit in the lovely garden and we would spend precious time together. I made lovely friends at the home and will miss the chats and laughter. Dad sadly passed away in September and we as a family are so grateful to everyone for their care and understanding. I will miss everyone.
Reply from Vasilica Iovu, Manager at St Nicholas House LtdDear Edwina,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a heartfelt review of your experience at St Nicholas. It means a great deal to all of us to know that your Dad felt comfortable, cared for, and respected during his time with us. We feel privileged to have been able to support him and your family over the past two years.
Your kind words about our team and the home's atmosphere truly touch us. We always strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where both residents and their families feel part of our community, so it's wonderful to hear this reflected in your experience.
Please accept our deepest condolences on your loss. It was an honour to care for your Dad, and we will remember him fondly. You will always be part of our St Nicholas family, and we hope you'll stay in touch.

My dad was admitted to Kings Bromley beginning of October sadly dad is at end of life care. I am so happy for him his room is kept clean. Dad wants for nothing and everything he requires is never any trouble. He's blind and deaf so feels extremely vulnerable and anxious at times the other day his hearing
aid wasn't working originally we thought a battery change it ended up having to have a overall to get it to work and the care and patience the carer went through to see dad had a working hearing was above and beyond. Nothing is too much trouble. Dads really cared for and feel confident he's in very safe hands in his final months.
