My brother has been in bearwood for 4 years. It has been a difficult time with him settling but the staff have worked around him and dealt with his needs as much as he allows them too. I was always told by the manager it could take him a long time to adjust and accept his situation that i am no longer
able to care for him and she was right. All staff have been so supportiuve to us both
Reply from Lincymol Thomas, Manager at Bearwood Nursing HomeThank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience.
We understand how difficult this transition has been for both you and your brother, and we are pleased to hear that you have felt supported throughout this journey. Supporting residents to settle in at their own pace is very important to us, and we are glad that our team has been able to work around your brothers individual needs with patience and understanding.
Your feedback means a great deal to all of the staff, and we truly appreciate the trust you have placed in us over the past four years.
Kind regards,

From the day that my dad arrived at Bearwood road Nursing home, we was made very welcome. Raj, the manager is lovely, friendly and explained everything & made us feel comfortable with our dad moving in. Reena , the receptionist is very welcoming as we come in to see dad, caring & lovely. All of dads
carers are really good, eveytime i ask them something for my dad, they are there. Natalie, the cleaning lady , takes time to speak with dad & keeps rooms very clean. Nurses are all amazing. Also, laundry woman. We never thought we'd see our dad in a Nursing home , I would like to thank everyone for making this comfortable for us all. Dads settled nicely xx Thank you ..highly recommend.
Reply from Lincymol Thomas, Manager at Bearwood Nursing HomeThank you so much for your kind and thoughtful feedback. It truly means a great deal to us.

We are so pleased to hear that you felt welcomed from the very beginning and that the transition for your dad has been a comfortable one. Moving into a nursing home can be a big step for families, and we are glad we could help make this process easier for you all.

I will be sure to share your lovely comments with Reena, Natalie, our nurses, carers, and the housekeeping and laundry teams. They all work very hard to provide a warm, caring, and supportive environment, and your feedback will mean so much to them.

Most importantly, we are delighted to hear that your dad has settled in well. Supporting both our residents and their families is at the heart of what we do.

Thank you again for your recommendation and for placing your trust in us.

Choosing a care home for a loved one is one of the most difficult decisions a family can make, but our experience with Caldene Care Home has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment my aunt moved in, any anxieties we held were immediately replaced by a profound sense of relief and gratitude.
The
quality of care she receives is truly outstanding. It is clear that the staff do not view their roles as just a job; they treat the residents with a level of dignity and genuine affection that is heartwarming to witness. Whether it is ensuring her medical needs are met with precision or simply taking the time to sit and have a meaningful conversation with her, the team consistently goes above and beyond.
What impresses me most is the vibrant atmosphere and the dedication to resident well-being. The staff do an excellent job of fostering a community where my aunt feels seen and valued.
Reply from Sandeep Dhindsa, Acting Manager at Caldene Rest HomeThank you for your kind words, I will inform all the members of the team and will continue to provide the best care we can, very much appreciate your time to review our service.

Mum has dementia and considerable physical challenges, and has been a resident at BNH since last August and has been very well looked after. We live over 300 miles away and have medical issues of our own so are unable to visit as often as we would like, but the staff have been brilliant in keeping us
up to date with mum's situation and we are able to call and to use social media to talk to her. Raj in particular has been incredibly helpful to me in my dealings with the local authority and the NHS and DWP concerning mum's affairs. As a very small family, and given the geographical distances involved, we could not be happier with the care and support given to mum and indeed to us. Thank you all at BNH

My aunty was a resident at Bearwood Nursing Home, and as a family we cannot praise the home enough for the brilliant care she received throughout her stay.
From the very beginning, the staff were kind, respectful, and incredibly attentive. They treated my aunty with dignity, patience, and genuine compassion,
always taking the time to understand her needs and ensure she was comfortable and well cared for. Nothing ever felt rushed, and we were always kept informed and reassured.
The nurses and carers showed a high level of professionalism alongside warmth and empathy, which gave us complete peace of mind as a family. It was clear that residents are not just cared for, but truly valued as individuals. The environment was clean, welcoming, and calm, and the atmosphere felt homely rather than clinical.
We are deeply grateful to the entire team at Bearwood Nursing Home for the exceptional care and support they provided. I would highly recommend this nursing home.

The staff here truly stand out - they're consistently supportive, approachable, and always do their best to meet my dad's needs, even when he can be challenging. Knowing that he's well cared for, especially during difficult times, gives me great peace of mind. I'm very grateful to all the carers, nurses,
and staff members.
The telephone support is also excellent; I'm impressed by the prompt responses and regular updates. Please keep it up.
My main feedback is about the facilities and activities, both of which could be improved. The rooms and common areas feel outdated and would benefit from renovation, and the social or recreational activities could be expanded.
Reply from The Manager, Manager at Richmond Court Nursing HomeThank you very much for your kind words. We are very happy to hear that you are satisfied with our service. Everyone at the home have been really friendly, accommodating and kind. It has given us all great piece of mind to know that our mum has round the clock care, is treated really well and kept warm and dry. All the staff have made a real fuss of mum, throwing her a party with cake for her birthday, which
was a lovely surprise. I can't recommend this home and all of their lovely staff, eough. Thank you all so much for all of your tireless work.

The staff at richmond court are always very helpful. I cannot fault the care that my mother receives from the staff at richmond court. The building would benifit from a refurbishment and the rooms are basic for the weekly price that she is charged, however once you look past this the care staff do an
excellent job of looking after my mum and will go out of their way to help her.
Many thanks to all the staff.
