Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Nurse aligned with NHS Band 6/7 level to lead and develop our nursing team and ensure the highest standards of clinical care within our nursing home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong clinical leadership and support to nursing and care staff
- Ensure high-quality, person-centred care in line with CQC standards
- Oversee clinical governance, audits, and quality assurance processes
- Maintain compliance with medication management, infection control, and safeguarding policies
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
- Support staff training, supervision, and professional development
- Liaise with GPs, community services, families, and external professionals
- Manage incidents, complaints, and regulatory inspections
- Ensure accurate clinical documentation and reporting
About You:
- Registered Nurse (NMC) with a valid UK PIN
- Proven experience in a senior nursing or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and clinical governance
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Commitment to high-quality, compassionate care
- Ability to motivate and develop staff teams
