Location: Cleckheaton
Salary: £13.05 per hour
Hours: 36hrs - 07.00-16.00pm - occasional shift to 18.00pm - alternate weekend
Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve nutritious meals and refreshments
• Cater to specialist dietary needs
• Maintain food documentation and hygiene standards
• Keep kitchen and storage areas clean and organized
• Work collaboratively with the care team to support older residents, including those with dementia

Requirements

• Previous catering experience required
• NVQ or 706/1 and 706/2 qualifications preferred (not essential)
• Current Basic Food Hygiene certificate
• Experience in elderly care settings preferred
• Ability to cook from scratch using basic ingredients
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Genuine interest in working in a caring environment
