Are you passionate about providing great food and excellent service? We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at EachStep Blackburn.

Working as part of our catering team, you'll play an important role in ensuring our residents enjoy nutritious, well-presented meals in a welcoming environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
• Washing up and ensuring kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored correctly.
• Supporting the catering team with stock rotation and storage.
• Providing a friendly and professional service to residents, visitors, and colleagues.
• Following food safety, health and safety, and infection prevention procedures at all times.

What We're Looking For

• A positive, caring, and team-focused attitude.
• Good communication skills.
• Previous catering or kitchen experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• A commitment to maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends on a rota basis.

• 22.5 contracted hours per week
