About the Role

As a Night Care Assistant, you'll play an important role in ensuring our residents feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the night. Working alongside our experienced Senior Care Team, you'll provide high-quality, person-centred care while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Every night is different, but your kindness, reassurance, and support will help our residents enjoy comfort and peace of mind.

Your Responsibilities

You'll be responsible for:

  • Providing compassionate, person-centred care in line with current legislation, best practice, and our policies.
  • Supporting residents with personal care, mobility, comfort, and overnight wellbeing.
  • Assisting with meals, hydration, and social interaction where appropriate.
  • Supporting rehabilitation or therapy programmes under professional guidance.
  • Building positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Maintaining accurate care records and daily documentation.
  • Promoting dignity, privacy, choice, and independence at all times.
  • Helping to ensure the home runs smoothly and safely throughout the night.
  • Safeguarding the wellbeing and welfare of every resident.
  • Completing all mandatory training, including the Care Certificate if you're new to care.
