Hourly Rate: £12.91 per hour

33.5 hours per week

About us

Langwith Lodge is registered with Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire County Councils as a 54 bed Care Home, offering long term residential care, respite, day care and short-term stays. The home is registered to care for people on a residential basis as well as for people with milder forms of dementia.

We are currently looking for a Care Assistant – Nights to join our dedicated team.

Our aim at Langwith Lodge is to provide a warm, happy, and secure environment along with the highest standard of care in a relaxed, friendly environment in which the privacy and independence of our residents is respected. We specialise in caring for people with dementia with a friendly and empathetic approach. We ensure that residents are able to still enjoy the freedom and lifestyle of their choice, whilst receiving care that is appropriate to their needs built on dignity and respect and you will play a key part in this

What you will be doing: -

· To assist with care and support of the residents under the supervision of a senior in charge.

· To encourage and help promote the quality of life according to needs as identified in a resident’s personal care plan.

· Assist service users with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, and eating.

· Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of service users
