Job summary

Previously known as Hampton House, under new ownership since May 2024 and rebranded as 'The Hamptons', we are a 36-bedded residential care home in Cheltenham.

Please note we do not offer sponsorship.

You will join a growing social care business, offering support to those who need it and may no longer be able to care for themselves independently. This includes:

Personal care where required

Assistance to visit places externally where required (supported by an activities co-ordinator who will manage excursions etc)

Tending to all physical/emotional needs

Practising in a person centred way

Full training is given to all our staff, but it would be advantageous if candidates were trained to administer medication.

Must have a Diploma Level 2 in Health & Social Care. and must have strong, proven leadership and organisational skills.

Duties include:

· To delegate duties to care staff and to ensure the smooth running of each shift.

· To supervise and set an example for Care Practitioners.

· Maintain staff morale; develop good communication and interpersonal relations in all departments. Build team spirits and motivate staff towards a high standard of care.

· Assist Care Team Leads with monthly observations/assessments of clients on a routine basis.

· To assist the residents in all aspects of personal hygiene when required.

· To direct all enquiries and/or concerns to the Care Team Lead.

· To ensure all daily care documentation is completed to the required standard by care team.

· Assist with inducting new members of staff so as they become quickly effective.

· Act as mentor to new staff.

From 36hours per week over 7 day rota.
